Quoted House and Detached Garage for Termite treatment however they also quoted detached garage repair. Notified that could only afford Termite treatment by phone and text. Workers showed up originally with directions to only repair garage. Had to call Owner to clarify. I noted that they could come back in 2 weeks for repair but could only afford Termite treatment. Owner very abstinent about sending out more workers than just treatment required. Bill presented was only for treatment and paid in full, asking them to return in 2 weeks to complete garage treatment since spouse had requested garage not be treated at that time. Had to watch workers to ensure they wouldn't spray in certain areas. Workers in cleaning up sprayed in areas they were instructed not too. Owner then sent a very un-professional email to me noting that he had to pay 2 workers for what was a 2 hr job $400 total and that was a 'loss' to him and requested before he would return that I at least pay him $200 for the workers he sent that he claimed were a 'loss' to him. This smelled of a scam for extra money above the quoted price for the treatment. Only upon informing the Owner that I considered not doing the treatment on the garage vs. his demand of $200 for the 'loss' of sending 2 more workers than he said were required to send for the treatment, was a 'wash' and informed him I would not be rescheduling the garage. Only upon standing firm on the quoted price and treatment did the Owner relent and offer to return without paying the extra $200. This confirmed the attempt of getting another $200 as a scam. I informed the Owner I would not be requesting his company return and will go to another company to complete the treatment. I wouldn't believe what this company quotes for the work. UPDATE! April 6, 2013... The techs showed up on time... were very professional in explaining the services they were about to perform and asked if we had any questions. They worked consistently for about 5 hours under our house... in the attic and inside the house as directed by the inspection report done by Ward on his inspection visit. They worked very neatly and kept the work areas neat and tidy as they progressed. Overall... we have had a great experience. I don't do reviews and had to join Yelp to do this one and am glad I did. After reading all of their positve reviews I was skeptical that they could be as good as everyone seemed to claim. I AM HAPPY TO REPORT THAT WE ARE VERY SATISFIED with our treatment. We have the 2 year warranty and so we will be paying much more attention now that we know what to look for! Today, March 30th, 2013 Our inspector Ward showed up just a couple minutes before our appointment time (that never happens with service contractors!). He took the time to explain the treatment processes to us and then he did a very thorough inspection of our house... inside... in the attic... in the crawl space and all around. He actually was able to show us some active termites chewing away at our house. We have called a couple of other termite companies but honestly, they simply do not compare to Pacific Coast Termite. We have scheduled our treatment for a week from today and I expect that we will have every bit as good of an experience as the other customers who have posted here! My situation was different then most people with Termite issues. However, same problem,bugs ,and same solution. I had a bee hive in my outer wall vent causing me to have bugs in my upstairs Bathroom Tub. After lab tests with pesticide companies, it was confirmed to be a sawtooth pantry bug. Everyone was confounded why are they only in a tub of an empty bathroom. After the first Hive was removed I still had them in my bathtub. It was a mystery until a second Bee Hives was found and removed. The first two Bee companies missed it not thinking there might be a second hive. Even though the bees were gone from the hives. We later found out it was the source of food for the pantry bugs just under my tub who got in through the overflow valve of the tun-used tub. The second opinion Bee Specialist (A Bee Solution) found my second hive in the smaller outside vent within 30 minutes and it's now gone! Pacific Coast Termite manager Ricardo was kind enough to say we will do our best to help you explaining they alway guarantee to rid of Termites but this was not their usual but could help with this situation and they did. Him and Chad have been there for us, using techniques to inhibit the spread of any of these pests and doing my entire ceiling and walls. They were always professional courteous and did an amazing job! It took years and a lot of people and a recommendation from Chad to seek an opinion from another Bee Company to solve this mystery. We had our home inspected by a national company representaive and we were disappointed with both the inspection and the lack of options. As a result we researched the problem to become better informed about other remedies and then selected Pacific Coast Termite. They were early (I know I couldn't beleive it either) and I had the pleasure of meeting Steve Marcione and Jim. They were very thorough and very knowledgeable. By the time they complete the inspection I had a lot of confidence we had called the right company. They went over the options with us including options they do not offer. I had been procrastinating termite treatment because of a unpleasant experience 10 years ago. Yup, last termite treatment was TEN years ago. So happy to find Pacific Coast Termite. Their inspectors, Kenny and James, were very professional. Due to the extensive termite damage, inspectors took almost three hours to mark all the damaged areas (exterior, under house & two attics) for non-fumigation treatment. I scheduled right away. The day of treatment, 6-7 workers showed up on time, worked WHOLE day to finish the job. All crew members were very professional, pleasant, and very thorough. With in a week, I scheduled for them to repair all the damaged wood. The wood repair crew, Jesse and Jose, came everyday, took 7 days to finish....finished today!!! Their repair job is flawless, beautiful! Again, very professional. They even advised me to call PCT to have termite team come back to treat an untreated area after some superficial wood was removed. As I started painting my house (with a professional painter) he discovered termite infestation in a number of pieces of wood in the exterior. I called Pacific Coast Termite after doing some research. Steve came and took a couple of hours going through every nook and cranny and he discovered quite a few colonies. They do local treatment (which in my case was more appealing with many pets and plants that would need relocation etc. Besides, local treatment is long lasting while the tenting method only works while the tent is on, no residual effect. That convinced me to go this route, and I asked if they could do it ASAP as the painter had already a schedule for my house. They came with a crew of 3 next day, early (Anthony, Elias and Joe).They were very professional, took a full day to do the work and even brought a second crew to finish, with a taller ladder, as to reach the top of the chimney. I was really impressed, and I would highly recommend them based on my experience. They even asked me if they could remove some paper, exposed by the removal of wood by my painter, so they could treat the wood below. Pacific Coast Termite: Very Professional We contracted with PCT to manage obvious termite infestation; Blake, our inspector/estimator, arrived promptly as promised, and gave us a comprehensive report on all the termite issues our 60+ yr old home was suffering from. Blake was professional and friendly, explained everything he was doing and patiently answered all of the many questions we had. Upon our scheduled treatment day, techs Ricardo and Sam arrived on time, and were also very friendly and professional and explained the course of treatment in detail. Blake originally estimated an approximate window of 4-5 hours for the work, and Ricardo and Sam finished within the time frame as expected. First off, I had two other "inspections" from big name termite control companies that PALED in comparison to Dan's free inspection. Dan really took the time to find the little buggers and was very thorough. He wasn't a pushy salesman and took the time to explained their "green" pesticides, which was the deciding factor as I have very sensitive skin and a lot of pets that would have had to be boarded and plants that the first inspector guy said had to all be cut away and would "probably turn yellow" (more like for sure die). They were more expensive but you get what you pay for...I went with a different, cheaper company the first time and regretted it. So this time I went with Pacific Coast Termite and boy, what a difference, they exceed my expectation! Marc and Joseph were my fumigators. They were polite, professional, on time, and VERY hard working! They worked diligently from 8:00 am to almost 5:00pm. Once they really got in there, the termite damage was a little more extensive and Dan the inspector also came later to help but they stuck with the original estimate they quoted me. James Griffin, rodent specialist came by and replaced all the vents and crawl space vents as well. The work was so professional and well done it not only looks 100% better I now do not have to worry about critters getting under my house. No worrying about critters chewing electrical wires or causing harm to my dogs. It is nice having that piece of mind. I had three companies come out and inspect my home after some big winds shook my roof and droppings landed in my bedroom. Pacific Coast was the third company to come out and inspect. Jeff was the inspector and he found termites in locations the other companies had missed. He showed me the proof, one can't mistake termite droppings! His inspection was more thorough than the other two companies and he was very knowledgeable and answered my questions with no hard sell and no scare tactics. For the above reasons I hired them to treat the termites. The lead person doing the treatment is also an inspector which gave me piece of mind. They were here for quite awhile and were very thorough. When they were done he showed me exactly what had been treated. While they were working I could smell what they used, but they filled the holes so well by the evening there was no smell.(they had to go from the inside due to an inside beam) I would be surprised if a termite could survive the treatment, but they gave me a warranty and if I need to call them back I will post another review as well. read more

I heard about PCT on KFI (Just so they know their ad is working). Supervisor Allan came out for the inspection and quote for treatment. Very nice, professional. Miguel, Rick and Sam showed up at 7:45 AM and worked for nearly a full day to get those nasty critters out of my 70 year old wooden home. Nearly four months later - yesterday - I noticed some droppings on the floor in a room with open rafters and called the office to utilize my 2 year warranty. The also very nice gal, Cindy, answered my call and sent two guys over to do the spot treatment the same day. I wanted to wait a while before I gave a review because I guess I wanted to check out the warranty and if they would respond quickly. They did and I am very pleased. Nobody likes to spend money on something you can't see (except the stupid droppings) but my home is way to valuable to let it keep being munched away day after day. We had a severe termite problem in the upper attic and didn't want our roof tile damaged by the alternative procedure -- tenting. Soon after we called PCT, Ricardo came and did a thorough inspection that highlighted problem areas. Jeremiah Harris came to do an inspection of my home today. He was on-time (and phoned to confirm that he was on his way). We had found evidence of rodents under the house, and he confirmed this. He also inspected the attic spaces and found no evidence of rodents but did find evidence of termites. He also pointed out that there could be a roof flashing problem as there was evidence of some water leakage in one attic. (Pacific Coast doesn't do roof work, but he told me about the water evidence. We wouldn't have known otherwise - thank you!) He was very professional, thorough in his exam inside and out (one of the attics is not easy to get into), and explained everything in detail, from the scope of the work and treatments involved and the warranties. Dan is awesome. He is everything you look for in an employee. My father passed away then my foundations mascot and I was a wreck, but had to keep driving on to ready my father's house for sale. The proceeds of the homes sale were also to go to an exotic animal shelter on the East Coast for which I am the Director. Without Pacific Coast Termites I would have never been able to get the house ready quickly so I may return home. Dan, Sergio, Armando, and Omar all did a great job. Frank who completed the Escrow inspection eve crawled under the house which due to massive rain was a mud mess, but they all knew I needed to do the repairs inexpensively, quickly and correctly!!!
