Brad did a fantastic job directing and helping us craft an elopement day that was uniquely ours…read more More so than just capturing a beautiful moment, I wanted to share our story with friends and family who couldn't be there for the wedding. Most importantly just didn't want another boring video that no one wants to watch (or rewatch). Looking through Brad's portfolio I saw his strength was in storytelling and while watching his prior works I felt engaged as a viewer. This was my main reason for booking Brad. Brad was great with communication. He scheduled a meeting one month prior to discuss our plans for the day e.g. must have scenes, locations, etc. Brad offered an off day with a location of our choice to film us a couple outside of the wedding context. This worked out beautifully. Brad was pleasant to work when it was just bride and groom and when we had a photographer and bridesmaid on board as well. He was very receptive and accommodating of my request to shoot in brighter / lighter tones than his signature moodier style. Although both the wedding and off day happened to be cloudy, Brad did an amazing job during post processing to adjust for the color. Brad also made sure to incorporate a home video of our cats as they were integral to our story. I am very appreciative of the effort that went into perfecting our video. I love watching it and even after several dozen re-runs it still makes me go "awww". Friends and family have nothing but praises for Brad's work and some have even said they were moved to tears. I think often times people skimp on the videography especially in the elopement context, but regardless of whether you're having an intimate ceremony or a full blown wedding, the video is what captures the emotions, sounds, and allows you to relive the moment. I'm glad we opted for both photography and videography for our event although during the planning phase it seemed a little excessive. However, the day flew by and before I realized it 7 hours came and went. I can't imagine how much faster it would have been if we had a full cast of guests and activities.

We were looking for a team that could capture the feel of the day, our relationship, and provide us with quality footage we'd be able to look back on over the years. Brad/Inari went above and beyond our expectations. From the first meeting, working with Brad was a wonderful experience. Brad's approach to wedding films is thoughtful, detailed, and thorough and his work is beautiful, well-done, and extremely professional. In fact, we had such a good experience that my brother and sister-in-law hired Brad for their wedding, as well! I don't think they even looked at anyone else. Seriously, he's that good. Plus, as an added bonus, Brad's footage is so good that you could use any individual frame as an additional wedding photo. Inari is that skilled at capturing your day. If you're looking for a high-quality wedding videographer who's thoughtful, fun to work with, AND a master at what he does- look no further, Inari Film is for you!

We're camera shy folks and they made us feel comfortable in a front of cameras while shooting our preparations, before the ceremony. Our highlight film had our speeches, first look, and toasts as we discussed at our meeting. I highly recommend Ocean Films to everyone who's getting married and in need of professional videographers.

The night of our wedding we ended up going a bit over the discussed time, but the cloud 9 team was super understanding and with no hesitation at all, stayed longer to capture the dancing and cake cutting. We also needed our wedding video back really really quickly for our wedding part 2 in another country, and they really prioritized us and made it happen. I figured a photographer would be sufficient and I couldn't really wrap my mind around the added expense especially given how uncomfortable I anticipated being the center of attention. I loathed the idea of being filmed, assuming each shot would be of me looking strained and awkward every time I saw the camera. Also, most wedding videos look so forced and "wedding-y" that they just seem insincere. Suffice it to say, I have never been happier to be wrong in my life. Aside from being a gifted videographer, Evan Olman is an extraordinary individual. He has the best temperament, no bull-shit, and he just exudes positivity. By being so chill and awesome himself, Evan reminded everyone to just enjoy the weekend in all its glory! He was forthcoming from the very beginning in getting an idea of what we wanted and how we operated so that he could do his best to make us comfortable. He also ran all over the place to multiple locations with his equipment in tow, smiling all the while with joyful reassurances. Without a doubt, Evan was our favorite guest! And then on new year's day, the highlight video arrived. I'm still reeling from how incredible it turned out. Evan captured the most incredible moments that still take my breath away. I can't get over how much time he must have spent editing the video. He created a piece that truly reflects us and our "formality be damned, devil may care" attitude so that, in my sisters words, there's nothing douchey or trite about it. Per our loved ones, watching it makes you feel just as spectacular as we did in the moment. It is a treasure. This video is the greatest gift. I'll never be able to thank Evan for all of his hard work and creativity! Honestly he could charge double/triple and it would still be well worth it all. So don't be stupid. Hire Evan! Seriously, dude, he's magic.
