They did not use tarps inside their home. This is not a home under construction, it has been inhabited for over 35 years. And aside from the mess A-1 roofing left their workmanship was horrid. 1. Drywall cutting in the kitchen not straight. 2. Skylight supports are low quality lumber. Inspector said they should have been finished with higher quality wood. 3. A-1 did not inform my parents they needed to hire a finishing carpenter to complete the work. 4. The project manager Jake told them he would attach the television antenna to the fascia, he left it on the ground. 5. the workers knocked over planters with their vehicles and crushed them. It is obvious A-1 took advantage of my parents believing they could bully them and do horrific work. Stay away from this company at all costs. They lowball bid and do work far below standards.

He arrived exactly on time for the appointment and provided a bid the same day. I selected his bid out of three because I believe in supporting local, small businesses plus his bid was much more reasonable than the other small business. I also referenced checked the heck out of his company, and the products he uses, and was pleased with my results. When I accepted the bid, he called me right away to set the start date and time. On the day we scheduled, his crew showed up on time, on the dot, and began working. They were pleasant, respectful of my property and cleaned up at the end of each day. It was fun watching them work, they were like a well oiled machine. At the end of the second day, Carlos called to let me know they'd be back for a couple more hours in the am to finish up and to make sure everything was cleaned up. We then arranged a time for me to pay him the balance owed and he showed up on time again. The roof I have now is beautiful! The quote matched the work that was done to the penny. I did my research! I got 5 quotes. I then researched the roofing material brands that were quoted. The material Charlie uses was #2 in quality and there was very little difference (except price) between the #1 and the #2 brand. Reading Charlie Roofing reviews I found only highly positive reviews including one who said if he could give more than 5 stars he would. Well, that is exactly how I feel! If I could give Charlie Roofing more than 5 stars, I would!! I very highly recommend Charlie Roofing!

I am disappointed in The Roof Doctor roofing company. After my roof was done there were areas…read moreheavily marred. There are gouges, scrapes, and even cut lines. These are located mainly in areas where extra work was needed. Extra movement is needed by workers around skylights and vent pipes. In August and September, 2022, I went up on this roof with the foreman. I was told it is difficult to replace because the material used bonds with the piece below, which makes it good in high winds. These marks were only cosmetic but to me if part of the surface is gone it will wear out faster. It would be better to try and replace these in cold winter weather. Also, this material stretches in hot weather so they won't be the same size as new pieces. I was told the owner was informed and would call me. The roof was done in early July. The second visit by the foreman was late August. I did not get the invoice until late August and it was not itemized. The crew put tool boxes, other work items, and left large pieces of roofing on the grass during hot sunny weather, leaving brown areas on the lawn. Roof Doctor put a roof on my house in 2018 finally writing this review because at least not just…read moreone place not just two places but in three places when you pay $7,000 for a roof you spect no water to come through it that is not the case with Roof Doctor another link showed up in November of 2020 they said there'd be out here before Thanksgiving to fix it now is January 10th and they're ghosted me I had to hire another contractor to come out and take a look and he said it was the worst roof he ever seen so I thought well I'll get her a couple more bids on it two other contractors came to look at it and they said the same thing who did this oh my God it's a horrible job when I told him Roof Doctor they just laughed at me and shook their head Roof Doctor does the bare minimum you just suspect when they say Roof Doctor they know what the hell they're doing I know if I was running a roofing company and I put out product like this I couldn't sleep at night but everybody don't have the same moral compass so if you hire Roof Doctor you've been Fair warned

The only minor negative was that someone stepped on a tile and the living room ceiling was damaged, ( testament as to how bad the roof really was) But there was not even an I am sorry and no compensation was made for repairs. They were very kind and helpful. Took great care of us and fixed us right up. Thank you for the wonderful Job. I feel much better knowing that my roof is not going to fall in.

Now I've paid for hooks with doubles the price! And they didn't need them. When I called to see about getting $ back they don't answer!
