Every time my partner and I go to the Vega together, we stop at El Rincon Colombiano to pick up a…read morenatural juice and a buñuelo for breakfast. I know you can get just about any type of juice at the vega, but because 1. we never eat breakfast before heading over and 2. I can't wait the extra 4 blocks, this is one of our favorite places to come. El Rincon Colombiano makes some awesome juices with the option of having a base of water or milk as well as sugar, sweetener or without. Plus, you can mix and match any of the fruits they have on their list to arm your own delicious juice. My favorite mixes are strawberry and banana with a base in milk, maracuya and mango with a base of water as well as the lulo juice they make (it's a Colombian favorite). The juices are relatively inexpensive - around 1mil to 1.500, depending on if you choose milk or not. They also have a large selection of Colombian pastries and snacks, my favorite is the buñuelo (with their ají) as well as the arepa with queso - yum! Above all else though, is the attention. This small, whole in the wall restaurant, has the nicest staff! Usually it is one girl doing everything and an old woman doing the cooking - they are a dream team and are always super nice and funny even if they are slammed.
