Have not been to this location in over 10 years because I moved out of town, (however visited the…read moreTwin Falls location many times). I absolutely love the selection they have in this store... I want them to stay open-- and I want them to continue selling and offering all that they do. I had spent almost 2 full hours just walking around and looking at everything. We decided to buy a game that was a spin off from "settlers of Catan". We had spent at least half an hour observing the game and deciding if this is the one we wanted. After carrying it around and putting it back... carrying it around for a little while longer... Putting it back... We finally decided to invest in this game. $40 with tax is not too bad for a game like this. Upon much excitement.... we went home, made our dinner, and started popping open our new game. However we were missing pieces. Not just small pieces but their very big... main pieces. We looked up the one 800 number to call the manufacture. But they insisted we just write them a letter and let them know what the issues were--and with "snail mail" they would get back to us. So we brought the game back to our local Idaho Falls store. When we brought it back, the associate was -- to be honest-- short with us and snappy. The "manager " (or so she said was the manager), was equally as rude. They reluctantly gave us back our money back--with us producing our receipt. About 5-6 days later, the REAL manager contacted me. He was very kind and understanding. I told him how many years I brought my kids into this store to buy books. Our family has been part of this store for over 18 years. He apologized and explained the issues.... and offered us a gift card to return. I never expected that, but was very impressed with his humility and kindness. We all have bad days, and these 2 employees were just having a bad day. We've not only been back many times since, we've also recommended them to 3 of our family and friends. People are just happy to be there and play! There seemed to be lots of selection of legos too. I even made a Lego figure of my sister on serving a mission. Haha it was so good! If you shop on line good luck especially if an order is placed on the weekend, they will refuse to deliver and not give you and updated delivery time. If you call the help line they make excuses like this will not happen again, but yet it does. I have decided to shop elsewhere it might cost a little more, but its worth not having all of the frustrations with a dirty store and incompetent delivery drivers. Tried out Fred Meyer grocery pickup. I have the app that says if I tried the pickup I would save…read more$20. I put my order in with discounts was $93.54. Next day just as the groceries were loaded in my vehicle, I was charged an additional $7.95 without explanation. I went into the store (is this convenient and saving time?) and inquired about the additional charge that I didn't authorize. They had no clue. The customer service representative called back to the grocery pickup service, they said that everything was fine and didn't have any clue about the additional charges. So I contacted Fred Meyer/ Kroger website. They asked if my bank put a hold on my credit card. No this is a charge directly from Fred Meyer. Several emails back and forth, not only to find out what the extra $7.95 was for, but how they are able to charge my credit card without authorization because that's the scary stuff. The last correspondence with Fred Meyer/ Kroger customer service asked for a screenshot of my order before they changed the price and changed me the additional amount. OMG, take this as a warning. If you're going through the pickup service, make sure that you are prepared for their deception and scam process to prove that they have the right to charge whatever they seem fit, at their discretion, and without your consent.
