Kung Pao Shrimp

Really good date night and impromptu dinner. It was an empty restaurant which was nice...our server, Mindy, was really great tonight! She was by herself and had a few tables that she handled very well. She was knowledgeable and thorough when explaining things. Our drinks were never empty and she checked on us regularly. The food got out in and came out really quick. We had the crunchy bean beans and lettuce wraps to start...always really good! Our entrees were Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Shrimp & Beef Fried Rice. Flavor was on point and everything was served hot and fresh! Thank u for a great night! See u guys soon!

Came in for dinner with family while visiting the Riverside areas. Was actually surprised to know P.F. Chang's was still around as all of the one I'm familiar with in Northern California has closed down. Which was about 10 years ago or so, so I haven't been to this establishment in at least at leather long. It was pretty quiet when we arrived on the Friday eve that we did, and we're sat at a table for 4 which was kinda small for our party. Eventually we ordered the following: Appetizers: Fried Pork Dumplings Chang's Lettuce wraps Main courses: Dynamite roll Chang's Spicy Chicken entree Orange Chicken entree Food was good and my favorites were the fried pork dumplings and the Chang Lettuce wraps. The lettuce wraps was the dish I missed the most from them closing back home. My only complaint waa the seating, as our table was way too small for a party of 4. We noted it when we actually sat down, as it seemed small before we even got out food. But once you added 4 separate entrée's and 2 appetizers, there literally was barely any room for everything. So that was a but annoying. I think it would've made more sense to have put us in a larger booth and or at a booth where you could combine two smaller tables. Allowing for more seating room, and table area for our drinks and meals.

First time at this location. Ambiance was exactly what im always looking for low lit, calm music and not crowded. Given it was a wednesday there weren't very many people inside. Took some time to get seated but once we were seated we were greeted. Our server informed us she was training but she did great. Friendly, nice, smiling and attentive. She went over the specials. Which was $20pp. It comes with got two starters soup or salad,a shareable appetizer and entree. Everything was delicious!. My husband had sesame chicken and I got chicken low mein. It was a pretty big portion I took some home. We shared a birthday desert vanilla ice cream on a chocolate fudge brownie cake. Very rich! I couldnt leave without tasting the ginger mule!! 8/10. So refreshing!. Not everyone likes them but they are my fave! Until next time...

Our server was very nice, he even offered to help bag up our food that we were taking home! The restaurant is very nice and clean, I had an amazing experience here! I would definitely come back in the future.

Wonderful dinner and great customer service from our waitress, and a big shoutout to the best bartender ever- Gavin!

My first time to this location. The food was average and the service wasn't the best. We were a bit disappointed with the quality of the food and service. The men's restroom was dirty and unexpected for a place like this. I was a bit disappointed. I was going to post a Picture of the men's toom but didn't think it would be appropriate It was discussing.

I haven't been to PF Chang's in years, we were supposed to eat at Cheesecake Factory but the line was about an hour long. I remember Pf Changs being pretty good but I know a lot of people don't really favor it. However, my overall experience was really good. I told the staff that I had a nut allergy and they brought me out this printout of foods from their menu that is safe for me to eat. To me, that safety practice means the most because they care about their customers. Once I ordered, they made to place my food on a red plate to identify that it is nut free. I loved the inside of the restaurant, it reminds of the one near my house with the lighting. The food quality was pretty good and they give you pretty good portions

What a lovely New Year dinner! NICK was our server and made the entire evening memorable! He was so attentive! Beyond that, he made sure we knew all about the menu. It's clean, food is so damn good, and the service is what's really bringing us back. Let me rave some more about Nick, his vibe suits anyone in there 20's/30's/40's with a comforting personality, suave handle with the food, care for us having a good time. I didn't really enjoy my first drink (this is just my taste buds talking) and he replaced it for something else I enjoyed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND: changs chicken and white rice + Singapore noodles + sangria = FIRE!

Vegetarian CA roll (no crab)

PF Changs was really great when I was a meat eater but they only have a few vegetarian dishes and they all contain eggplant or tofu - both of which I dislike. The hubby and I have taken to ordering the CA roll without the crab, but the portion size is always pitiful. There's hardly any rice and it's $15 bucks. If we each order one, we're paying $30 bucks for $5 worth of food. There's so little cost to the restaurant for this dish, Come On. Food always tastes really great and the service is almost always wonderful. My only complaint is that they need to learn how to make decent hand rolls.

The first time I was here was 2005! And now second time with my son We ordered Mongolian beef with rice , fried green beans for appetizers and desert banana spring roll(I'm happy that you guys still have it) OMG! Everything is Great! And our server Tiffany, she's so wonderful! Definitely coming back! Ambiance !

Tofu

Beyond disappointed, I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai, only 4 shrimp; however, 38 small pieces of Tofu! Picture for size of the 38 pieces I had to pick out of it. I did not order the Tofu Pad Thai! They used as a FILLER! I don't like Tofu! SHAME ON THEM.

For a small party of a little more than 10 people do we have to make reservations?

Hi Daniel, you don't have to make a reservation but it is highly encouraged if you want to ensure you will be able to be seated.

Do they have a happy hour food and drink menu? If so what are the days and times?

We do not currently offer happy hour. Thanks.

Big Sky was my **go-to Chinese food spot in Riverside** for years. **Then tonight happened.** I placed a DoorDash pickup order at their new location -- sweet and sour pork, beef chow fun, beef porridge, pork and shrimp siu mai, and white rice. They even threw in extra rice, and I was genuinely excited to dig in. That excitement ended the moment I looked down at my bowl and found a **MAGGOT sitting on top of my rice.** I called the restaurant immediately and calmly explained what happened. They told me to contact DoorDash since that's how I ordered. Fine. I reported it through DoorDash's platform and waited. Then I got a call back from DoorDash -- not to help me, but to relay a message: **Big Sky had contacted them specifically to refuse my refund.** Let that sink in. A customer found a maggot in their food, couldn't eat a single bite of a $54.19 order, and the restaurant's response was to **actively call DoorDash to make sure I didn't get my money back.** I understand that occasionally bugs happen in food service. It's gross, but I was fully prepared to move on had they simply taken responsibility. Instead, they chose to fight a $54 refund over a maggot. That tells you everything you need to know about how this restaurant values its customers. **Eat here at your own risk -- and if something's wrong, you're on your own.**

The restaurant itself is super spacious, and since we came at kind of an odd time after the lunch rush, it was really calm and relaxing inside. We ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari, and it was really good. The calamari was crispy, lightly seasoned, and still tender inside, which made it super satisfying to eat. I do wish it came with a dipping sauce, but we already had sweet and sour sauce on the table and ended up using that instead, which actually paired really well with it. We also got the Chicken Pad Thai, which honestly impressed me a lot. The portion size was huge for the price, I think it was around $12-13, which felt really worth it for how much food we got. The noodles were flavorful, well cooked, and had a good balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors without feeling too heavy. The people working there were really welcoming and kind, and it felt like a family-run restaurant, which made the experience feel even more comforting and homey.

Don't expect refills or conversations about the day or the meaning of life. Bathroom: clean. Toilet and a urinal. Food: Before my main course arrived, I was served a small cup of egg drop soup and some crispy noodles with some type of sweet dipping sauce. Considering these were complimentary, I'm not going to complain. Soup was my okay. my mapo tofu came with a side of white rice. Upgrading to brown or fried rice will cost you an additional $1. This is the most bizarre mapo tofu I've ever had. Rather than the traditional ground pork and wood ear mushrooms, this came with long strips of fried pork and no mushrooms. I'm also used to thicker sauce, but this one was very watery. A tad spicy, but not over bearing. Maybe a recipe from a different Provence of china? Not what I was looking for. $15.00 later and a fortune cookie...and I was done. Not sure if I'd come here for the mapo tofu again. Others in the restaurant offered the 2-3 item combos. Typical orange chicken or Kung Pao chicken w rice or chow mein. Not my thing.

First, I arrived shortly after they opened on a Tuesday, which is important to highlight because they're closed on Mondays, and I suspect one dish I tried had the texture of leftovers (from the weekend). Part of me wants to try again later in the week, and day to see if this was a fluke. What I ordered was a rice bowl with braised pork belly and daily vegetables. Everything was good except the pork was dry and tough, clearly not braised that day or heated all the way through. I forget what my first choice was, but it wasn't available that day. My other item was the wonton soup, which also disappointed me for a few reasons. Portion size is good, but the broth tasted really thin, watery, and the wontons were overcooked and falling apart. The cause was they were forgotten about and the pot boiled over. Generally, you cook these below the boil to prevent the cloudy mess from disintegrating skins. The filling tasted fine, but again, overall flavors and balance was marred. I did, however, enjoy the lenon tea that comes with every combination meal. And, the employees are very nice, but the food didn't make the cut. They have a big menu and I've seen the skewers and hot pots in action so I know there's potential.

It was not too loud in there and the place was relatively empty so that was nice. Biggest disappointment was service, because our table ordered chow mein and the waiter brought us chow fun (flat noodles with gravy). When we told him that we ordered chow mein, he told us that what we ordered was chow fun, so I showed him what we ordered on the menu and he said "you wanted lo mein". While I get that, he spent a minute trying to figure out where the item was and couldn't find it. I reviewed pics on here and it seems like other people got the thick yellow noodles for chow mein. Anyway, they replaced it for us but I overheard the waiter tell his manager that we ordered chow fun by accident. The manager then told us something about "our mistake" upon paying, placing blame on us . The manager was nice about it, but we repeatedly told the waiter chow mein and he kept correcting us to chow fun. Also, there is a section of the menu labeled chow mein and a separate page labeled chow fun. I think I know what we ordered. Disappointing.
