P& D Marine Services..... we took our boat over for major repairs last year, promised it would take 4 weeks and finally received it back a little over 8 weeks later at a much higher cost. Their customer service was terrible and they haven't heard of "under promise and over deliver" on their service! This year we had the generator they installed 2015 quit working.... they said "oh, bring it over and we'll get to it". Gee, after experiencing last year's customer service, we asked that they either give absolute guarantee of repair time or preferably that they come over to Perdido Key to repair at our marina slip. No, they couldn't give a guarantee and they no longer provide service to Perdido Key! This answer was less than 4 weeks ago..... and today they are servicing a boat on our dock! Will never use them and definitely not refer them to anyone! read more

I used P&D for repairs to my Chaparral I/O....several problems which were quickly diagnosed....some repaired at my dock, some at their shop. All work done in a timely fashion. They made sure that the part of the work covered by insurance was handled correctly with my insurance company. I am very pleased with their service and attention to detail. read more

Ross and his crew definitely have their hearts in the right place. I have spent a lot of money with them and they have done far more right than wrong. We did have a couple of small issues but they were very quick to make them right. To me that says a lot about them. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. read more

Very disappointed in the service we received. First the costs quoted over the phone did not specify that price included travel time. Their diagnosis stated that a new part was needed. They did not have the part in stock and had to purchase, which was also added in the travel time costs. After discussion they did refund an hour. However, the next time out, we had the same problem that was supposedly fixed. Ended up calling another marine service, who diagnosed the problem very quickly (which was not what we paid to have fixed). Therefore, we have wasted $600.00 and will now have to incur more expense to fix the original problem. I do not recommend using them. read more

I brought my boat 200 miles to spend the week at orange beach with grandkids only to put it in the water and it would not crank. After calling several boat repair shops and all were two weeks out I called P&D and a sweet lady answered saying they were a week and a half out on repairs and then she asked if we were here on vacation. I said yes and she said let me see what I can do. She said he?? tries to help people so could I bring the boat in. Needless to say they saved my grand babies vacation.
