Wowsers, this is one of the most beautiful coffee shops I have ever seen!!!!…read more This building was originally a bank (hence the name), and the owners renovated it themselves (seriously ... they did it by looking at YouTube clips!!), and the result is an incredibly sophisticated, high-spec building. The cafe has been open for a year, and is a gem on the main street. We had F.C. Grubb softdrinks (locally produced in Gladstone by Trend Drinks), and some delicious bikkies and baklava. The coffee smelled amazing, and the ambience is gorgeous. They have a few collectables (carefully curated) in the actual 'vault', which is a lovely touch. We sat on the leather couches and chatted to the gorgeous owner, after admiring her handiwork and wishing this was our loungeroom!! I'd really like to come back here and try the coffee ... but also, it's one of those places that is just so beautiful you just need to go back to soak it all up!!!

In the mean time while waiting I saw a lady eating behind the counter from the food that she was about to serve, I saw people touch their hair then prepare food, then I watched them serve others that ordered after me. I then got sick of waiting for my food, so I asked where was my food and it wasn't even ordered even though I had paid for it. Then 15 minutes later I finally got my chips.
