    Vegan Meatless Pizza

We found this location by chance. I'm gluten free and my friend is vegan. Some were SUPER excited to see such a HUGE selection on the menu for both of us. The location is quaint and family run. The owner made us feel at home. She took time to explain everything to us. Please keep in mind that everything is cut, chopped and cooked fresh. But it's worth the wait. We both had garlic knots, gluten and vegan. Pizzas were good too! We will be back to this hidden gem.

The owners are very nice, service was great and so was the food! Highly recommend this place for a nice local pizza.

I was SO excited to try this place until I arrived. It doesn't look like much from the outside and inside it's small and seems old in every way. The decor is all kitschy and very mismatched stuff mostly featuring the family, which is fine but also there is so much stuff everywhere it's overwhelming for a person who likes minimal "stuff" and likes it clean. We ordered the Magical knots to start, vegan, as I am vegan to share. My cousin is not vegan and she had the Greek Salad & 10 Crispy Wings. I ordered the Vegan Buffalo Ranch pizza. Now I was super excited to try this food and it just fell flat. I don't know what the green dipping sauce for the knots was, but it left an odd aftertaste. Some knots wet perfect, soft and pulled apart well and others were hard and I couldn't even cut through them (they were so covered in garlic and oil I didn't want to get my hands dirty.) So that was sad. But the vegan pizza was super exciting to me. The cheese was heavy, and the ranch was too on the sauce end. There wasn't much of whatever "mock meat" had the buffalo on it so it just all around was disappointing. My cousin said the Greek Salad was okay and the wings weren't really that crispy. They were stuck to the bottom of the foil in the tray they came in though. The staff, who were incredibly friendly and nice, were really the only reason for three stars. It was okay food. Not the worst but definitely would pass on it in the future.

Since I cannot comment back to Amanda I'll share the following. The "vegan ranch sauce" was more of a cream. The reason we didn't mention when we were there over a year ago- is because the restaurant was covered in plastic, hanging from the order window, and there were supplies all over the tables so that we couldn't "dine in"

Do you see fresh basil? I paid extra and all I see are dried basil flakes. Vegan meatball cheese pizza.

3.5 A good option for sure, especially if you are ordering for a group and you have people who are non-dairy or vegan or plant based. Here's why the pizza fell short. What I ordered: meatball (plant based) pizza with basil. What I got: meat crumbles with dried basil flakes. If the basil had been done right, I could ignore the meatballs being crumbled.

Ozona Pizza is our go-to pizza place! It's a small family run business, with delicious eats, fresh ingredients, and great people.

Such a disappointment. Ordered 2slices of pizza. They were $10!!! For 2. And they were cold such as had been refrigerated. They seemed to be from a few days ago. We only ate one and tossed the other. Don't let their Instagram fool you. Really, really bad!

As I walked in, I have to say at first it seemed cluttered. The only thing I will say about that is; decide what you want in a restaurant. If you want white washed homogenized cookie cutter every restaurant with no personality and tasteless food, go eat at Chili's. If you want an interesting experience and fabulous food prepared with love for their craft by warm caring people, then sit down, enjoy the memories on the wall and maybe play a game of chess while you wait. The amazing smells compelled me onward. We saw the menu online noting to bring cash but chose to order in restaurant, because the menu is so extensive it was overwhelming. This, in hindsight, was our mistake. As everything is made fresh, it's not fast. If we had ordered from home we could have cut our time waiting in restaurant. There are board games & video games(free) to play while waiting. Great if you have kids with you. Our food came out. As a long time vegan, and a 50 year old woman who watches calories, I have not had a pizza for maybe 20 years. I chose this restaurant because my daughter wanted to go. I ordered the " burner" pizza " 90 calories per slice" made VEGAN. It was phenomenal. As memorable as the food I had in Las Vegas or in NYC. I appreciate that calories are listed. I wouldn't eat otherwise. I do not guess. I feel with some work that Ozona & Pizza Mike could Franchise this restaurant. My daughter loved her vegan pizza, garlic knots & brownie. My husband enjoyed his non vegan pizza. The owners are wonderful warm people. I am glad we came & will be back. **Outstanding online system of ordering as well as table reservations. Very tech savvy. **As a side note, let me just say that after reading some reviews from VEGANS who complain about the price; FOOD IS EXPENSIVE. Please do not ask why good food is expensive, but rather why cheap food is cheap. You are what you eat. Don't be cheap, fast or easy. Finally, as a long time vegan, I remember when vegan at a restaurant was lettuce with no dressing & maybe a slice of tomato. I remember the first awkward attempts at soy cheese. It wouldn't melt at all, but I was grateful to have it. I come to this Nirvana of utopian vegan foods & I hear a vegan murmur any complaints, I think how self righteous & entitled this vegan must be to feel they are owed vegan perfection at bargain price. Shame for not supporting your vegan enterprises & shame for lack of living or even respecting the struggle brought us to this place. Updated from previous review on 2020-01-01 #veganpasco

The pizza didn't taste terrible, it's just overpriced. Much better pies for the price around town

The prices are actually very reasonable, and I was even a little shocked at that. I ended up getting the seafood, over pasta for $23.99, which is muscles, shrimp, clams and calamari and I went with the white wine sauce. You could also get marinara or fra Diavolo sauce. It was fantastic. She ended up getting the veal Parmesan with angel hair and a side Caesar salad for $20.99 and that was fantastic as well. I think my only issue with my experience is we came in with about 45 minutes before they closed and the minute the restaurant closed. They immediately turned the lights on and started putting the chairs up. We were almost finished with dinner, but it just kind of felt very rushed in the end and I think it was they close at 8 PM. All in all very good experience, but just wish we had a little more time and I understand from working in the restaurant industry... You don't want to hang out all night and annoy the staff but turning the lights on immediately at close was kinda meh

We ordered a cheeseless pizza for my allergic husband but it arrived with vegan cheese (made with nuts, which he's also allergic to). They ended up attempting to correct the issue and were very apologetic but again the incorrect pizza came out only minus cheese so he was able to ultimately eat it. We didn't have the heart to tell our server it was wrong again and we were very tired since it was getting late. I ordered the fig pizza which was delicious albeit a little dry. I would ask for a dipping sauce next time perhaps. I think we will be back but it will take me convincing my husband it's a safe choice.
