Since out last visit, two years ago, the front area has changed. Changed for the better, delicate pastel shades of colour, new linen for the tables and, as an added bonus, a bar. An automatic canopy above, should the weather change.
Beaconed in by a beautiful young Turkish lady. As my partner commented 'did she pour herself into that dress'. I must agree with that statement. She showed us to a table and a waiter IMMEDIATELY asked if we would like a drink. Such service. Sitting there listening to a guy playing acoustic guitar. Bliss. My partner had a sea food pasta dish which she said was delicious. I chose one of 'from my Mothers Kitchen', Manti. A mince meat filled ravioli, topped with a garlic yoghurt, red pepper sauce and finally dried mint. Wish I was still eating it.
If you do visit, make sure you have a look at their Boutique Hotel (they don't mind you having a wander). How the other half lives.
Later in the week we popped in for a drink during one of the HOT afternoons. Service was the same. Chatting to the young lady behind the bar (I believe she was one of the owners) she told us they she was the designer having taken a course at Uni. All I can say, madam, is IT WORKS. read more
