There was very little wait time, everybody was friendly and helpful. The whole medical team did an excellent job, they made her feel really safe and helped her with her nerves. They did a great job of figuring out what was wrong, telling us what we needed to do. Really appreciated the service that we received and appreciated that there was not a long wait time for triage or to be seen by a provider.

This hospital only cares about money - not patients. A friend recently had a foot surgery that went…read moresideways and the whole time all they wanted to do was send her home knowing full well that she could not take care of herself as she lives alone. They always blame the insurance company. Most of the hoop jumping to try and get her to a facility was done by friends NOT by the hospital. In the end they said they would charge her $1800 a day if she stayed past noon and she is on Medicaid. They sent her home with stitches in her hip because of bone being taken to put in her foot along with rods in toes. No weight bearing for weeks. When they released her I asked them "Can you guarantee her safety if she goes home, knowing that she cannot use a walker or even go to the bathroom without help?" The hospital nurse said "No we cannot guarantee her safety". WOW!! There it is right there - money money money. I don't know one person who has EVER been treated like this at Northwest Specialty Hospital. The doctors are amazing, the food is amazing - the mangement is aweful and the communication is even worse. I asked one of the nurses if she could send a case worker or advocate to talk to us and her answer was, "Well, if Ican find one". How pathetic that. Never would I ever rcommend this hospital to anyone. I will however, continue to go there for lunch - amazing food!

He added that after the surgery he had a lot of tools in his tool box to expedite the healing. That really put me at ease that Western and Alternative Medicine can work together. After the surgery I met with Dr Noland several times . He administered IV therapy and checked on my progress ( including reviewing my X-rays). I found Dr Noland to be very knowledgeable, solution oriented, caring, very good listener and passionate about what he does .... helping people! My husband and I are looking forward to continuing our relationship with Dr Noland.

He is very thorough and skilled at interpreting bloodwork and other diagnostic tests and knows which ones to order to find out what is keeping you from feeling your best. When he had his practice in California I was his patient there. I've since moved across the country but he does telemedicine appointments so I can still rely on him for health advice when needed.

She said someone would call the next business day to schedule a follow up appt. Didn't happen. I called repeatedly and would sit on hold for about 10 minutes (my limit) and hung up. I found an online appt system which I filled out and the system said I'd get a reponse in about a day. Didn't happen. I've called several times, again never talking to a live person. Forget this clinic. They obviously aren't interested. Guess I'll just wait for the heart attack.

His foot was bleeding profusely when we went in and the foot was wrapped in a towel. He is elderly and had a hip replacement 2 wks ago. Also is a diabetic and a bleeder. At the desk, they were more concerned with checking to make sure we could pay rather than check the bleed. They went through detailed information, asking if he still took some meds, several of which he had taken only 1 time 20 yrs back. I understand the need to check records but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know the most important thing is to stop the bleed. There were at least 5 people working and only 1 patient. Although we were grateful for Samantha's cleaning and bandaging, overall we didnt feel totally confident of the judgement of the heavily tattooed staff.

" Me "no, I thought i cancelled all future appointments. " Her "no, you didn't. I guess I will notify the provider you are not coming". Me starting to say "sorry about that" as she hangs up.
