Oxxo is kinda like a 7-11 in America but better. They sell all kinds of stuff here besides cold…read moredrinks, snacks, sundries & junk food. They also sell all kinds of beach stuff, being right across the street from the beach, & they also sell booze, unlike in America. It has a tiny area inside you can sit & eat & it's open 24/7. It's also one of the only businesses that has air conditioning. If your hangin on Zicatela beach your bound to end up here at some point for something. So yay for the excellent location & AC. The only problem I have with this store is that after the clubs are closing on Zicatela beach & most people go home, there is always those few dudes that want to keep drinking, chasing the party & end up buying beer & booze here. You can find them hanging to the light post out front at 6am, unlike in America (we call that loitering & public intoxication) But here in México you can buy beer & booze here 24/7 & hang onto the lamp post drunk as a skunk out front no problemo. Just FYI, y'all aren't sexy hanging to the lamppost drunk at 6am. You just smell, badly. Please go find a palm tree & sleep it off & let the morning people get their coffees & doughnut. In their defense thou, they do have the coldest 40's on Zicatela beach ;) Thank heavens for 7-11 but 24/7 Oxxo is the place to go in México.

We picked…read moreup a liter of unsweetened mix of almond, macadamia and cashew nut milk, which I have never tasted in the US and it's delicious! Will definitely get more. Also tried the bakery section for the pan de casueleja: a lightly sweetened cake bread-makes a delicious breakfast and it's huge! Prices were very reasonable. Will be back to pick up lunch items for our bus ride back to Oaxaca.
