What a lovely shop! I came to oxford for the holidays and placed an order ahead of time to pick up when I got to town. I was expecting a flower shop and was so pleasantly surprised when I walked in. They have all sorts of gifts and cute stuff as well as the floral so it's definitely worth a stop. Super friendly and helpful folks over the phone for the order and in person. Not a good experience. Ordered flowers from Oxford Floral for a dear friend's funeral service that I was unable to attend at the recommendation from the funeral home. Ordered a $130 arrangement for delivery and requested a picture of the flowers at or before delivery. Never received. Asked at least three times and was disregarded each time. The florist claimed to have sent a picture to a completely unrelated phone number but could not resend that same photo. Unbelievable. I have no idea of the flowers were delivered and I will not ask the family due the sensitivity of the situation. In the age of smart phones, texting, Instagram and the like it is very easy to snap a pic and text or email it. The pastor from the church did provide a few pictures of the flowers (very nice of him); however, I cannot tell which was the arrangement I may have purchased. At the end of it all I have noting but the bill which I paid. I find this unacceptable and would not recommend this shop. read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! OXFORD FLORAL IS A TOTAL JOKE. When you spend over $50 on flowers, you would think you'd get a pretty floral arrangement. I literally thought the arrangement I was given was a JOKE it was so bad!!! The arrangement was so skimpy with broken stems all shoved in a vase and flowers snapped in half falling over. Up to par? I think not. I called in my order for Mother's Day right after they showed a picture of all the pretty flowers available ... When they brought out my arrangement at pickup days later, I actually thought this has to be a prank. Before the girl left my vehicle, I questioned her about my flowers and did I have the wrong order and she said "No! We ran out of flowers days ago!" and just walked off as she was saying it. I'M SORRY ... WHAT? You mean I ordered my flowers 5 days ago when you had buckets of flowers and THIS IS WHAT I GET? Seriously horrible customer service and business. It's common courtesy, if a customer is not happy with their order, you fix it - don't blow them off! This business obviously still needs to grow up and learn how to take care of customers because I just threw money in the trash with them. WHATEVER YOU DO, BUY FLOWERS SOMEWHERE ELSE. I was in tears on the drive home and was EMBARRASSED to give this to my mom for Mother's Day and more embarrassed to tell her how much I spent on them. Both of us were speechless and I should have demanded a refund immediately. Money doesn't grow on trees. To spend that much money on flowers, you'd think you'd have something at least pretty. Obviously I am so disappointed and hurt from this experience. I will never purchase a thing from Oxford Floral ever again or recommend them. I hope no one else has to go through this. They DO NOT do what they say they will or provide arrangements like they promote in pictures! Terrible!!!! The rudest staff and the most unorganized wedding registry department. Walked into the store and was about to spend close to $500 and because nobody greeted me or asked if I needed help I walked out. Also, I registered there for my wedding and they never put it up. I had several people try to go in and purchase me gifts and they looked at them like they had no clue who I was. I spoke to a young lady on the phone and asked her to pull two Himalayan salt shooters and a serving piece for a stock the bar party today. I was unable to go up there so i called to have someone help me and have the gift wrapped for my roommate to pick up. The shooters were going with a bottle of tequila on the serving piece for a bar. I was very specific on the piece I wanted to go with them (Bc I wanted to make sure it was something the bride had registered for). I told the girl the name of the bride and she said she had registered for some pieces. Great. My roommate picked up the gift for me to take to a party. It was a salad plate. when I called to ask why the serving piece wasn't pulled I was told "it's 199 dollars and I wasn't sure if you wanted to spend that much." I had not told her how much I was willing to spend--she didn't ask. Also---the bride isn't even registered for the salad plate. She's registered for chargers and serving pieces. Blown away that they would send something not even on registry when I specifically asked. She said I was welcome to come exchange it (not that I had a choice). When I went up there to swap it for a serving piece, not a single person asked if they could help even When it was obvious I was returning (I put the gift on the counter). I helped myself to the bridal registry book. Thankfully a lady in a green dress was polite as I was checking out. read more
