Their flavors are always exceptional! I've been to the Ottsville location as well, and they had a location exclusive "Chicken Tracks" which I hope they carry in all locations year round! I absolutely loved their Earth Day specials "Dirt" and "Sunshine". Even their simple "I hate chocolate" (chocolate ice cream) Is a party in your mouth! I've been coming here for ages, and although they removed the peacocks, chickens, turkeys, and animals, as well as the carousel and summer train rides, this place will always be recommended by my entire family, including out-of-towners who always have to stop here when visiting! We got ice cream at Owowcow a few times but then I had a terrible experience and I've never been back and won't go back we placed our order and the waitress began to scoop my ice cream but she kept picking at the ice cream before hand. I didn't know why she was doing this and eventually she scooped up the ice cream I then saw her pull a piece of hair out of the scoop that she wasn't able to discretely remove before she scooped it She then put the scoop in a cone and tried to hand it to me I gagged, told her to keep it, walked out and have never been back read more

The ice cream was rich in flavor. The workers was real pleasant and took heed of allergic issues for our children. When we got there the line was almost out the door, but don't worry the line does move fast. I ordered the regular bowl with one scoop of "I hate chocolate" and a scoop of cookies and cream. I love this place it makes me so happy going here - I don't know why - but it does. By the way it's right next door to an awesome grocery store. You can park in the front or side of the store because there are multiple entrances. There are always nice people working. The staff here is always nice and I've never had any problems. They are also very quick. Although I haven't yet experienced a crowd, but they're still fast. They have a nice seating area. If you're like me, and really tall, be sure to get a seat that isn't a tall stool. They also have a large chalkboard mural that the customers can draw on. Most of their ingredients are locally sourced. Their ice cream is super yummy. I really like the cinnamon bourbon and their ice cream flavor that is made with bailey's. They don't always offer these flavors but I love getting them - they are delicious. The prices aren't bad either for the amount of ice cream you get - it's pretty average. They also have kid sizes so if you have kids - they got you. They offer to go ice cream in a freezer case. A dear friend frequents the Ottsville location and noted that the food offerings in southern Bucks County had been substantially enhanced by the addition of OwowCow's second location in the Carousel Village in Wrightstown. We could not agree more! I enjoyed one scoop each of honey lavender and blueberry lemon, while my husband enjoyed Cava Cream, Amaretto Fudge Ripple and Sweet Honey Cream. All of the flavors shared a silky smooth texture and simply sang in our mouths. My honey lavender was fragrant yet subtle and the blueberry lemon was intensely berry-flavored and a beautifully-hued lavender studded with plump whole blueberries. A delight for almost every sense. Meanwhile, the Cava Cream was a champagne flavored ice cream (Cava is the Spanish equivalent of champagne) with the surprise ingredient of champagne's best friend: strawberries. Owow cow how I love thee!! If you haven't been here this place is a must. They make their own ice cream from all fresh and local ingredients! Because of that their flavors tend to be very seasonal, which I think is very cool. Besides being very seasonal the they have a good variety and it changes often even within season. They do tend to have a mix of ecclectic flavors- ( chocolate jalepeno, yum!) all of which I think are worth trying! But for the more conservative folks they also have plentiful traditional flavors as well. ( mint chocolate chip is to die for!) The only negatives ( if you can call them that) I would say is that is popular, so occasionally it gets busy and also, it can be more expensive than your local neighborhood place. My father and uncle owned an ice cream franchise for about 5 years when I was a kid. I've done the visit/tour to Burlington Vermont (figure it out) and spent many years working in fine dining, so understand that my credentials are LEGIT. I know this spot has only been open for 2 years, but I still never heard of it. My girlfriend and I were out picking up some fall flowers and enjoying the day and we pulled into the garden center. Neither of us were even thinking about a treat, but when we walked in to the ice cream shop on the side, the charming & smiley Maddy, greeted us with such a passion for the delectable dessert and explained that it is all homemade & handmade from organic grass fed cows. She insisted on letting us taste flavors and was so excited to explain each one. I decided to go with "the boat" which consisted of 5 perfectly sized scoops of 5 different flavors with a must have chocolate covered pretzel topping (my girlfriend went with "the boat" but served in a ridiculously well made chocolate covered waffle cone that had a big chocolate chunk at the bottom of the cone so there was zero drippage (bravo)). I savored each bite of this marvelous creation as if it would be my last because this deliciously creamy & perfectly flavored goodness is probably the best I've ever eaten. The ice cream was delicious and reasonably priced! I got the chocolate raspberry and local peach flavors, the peach one being my favorite, but that might have been a seasonal flavor. My friends also got the cashew caramel, Cookie Monster, and vegan salted caramel (I think) and said that they were all great too. Visited during quarantine and they are being safe and taking the necessary precautions. It would have been nice to be able to try the different flavors before choosing but I know that's not a good idea right now, and we still ended up very happy with the flavors we had! Despite living in Philly, the customer service at Owowcow is enough to justify the rather long drive up here. I came here with a rather large group (almost 10 people), almost all of us here for the first time, and we all had plenty of questions. Now I'm one of those highly indecisive people, and when faced with a buffet of unique and delicious sounding flavors (including 5 different versions of vanilla that all sounded anything but boring) I was at a loss. However the employee was kind, explaining her opinions on the flavors, and offering plenty of samples before I had to commit to two scoops. I loved the creamy taste, and you could tell the ice cream was made fresh. The scoops were large, but so was the price tag. A bit on the high end for some ice cream, I would say your really paying for the service, and the ambience of the quirky shop. I went here with a large group of people after a Father/Son weekend event. First, they remained calm and courteous throughout the time. They had 20 + people of varying ages wanting ice cream and trying different flavors. They performed well. Second, the ice cream is very good. It is soft and creamy. It is full of packed flavor. I like that they go with traditional and non-traditional flavor combinations. I had a taste of cinnamon bourbon and loved it. But, I went with a Chocolate ice cream with mint cookies in it. The positive is everything they serve is sourced from local farms and ingredients. It is really good ice cream and If I lived a lot closer, I'd be visiting and purchasing often. Very frustrating to have a cashier dismiss your questions and statements. When you ask about latex and they are dismissive and EXTREMELY RUDE it's heart breaking. Local run company treats people with no regard for their safety is highly disgusting. My last and final stop on the owowcow train. I like this location a lot. I went during a week night so it wasn't busy and they had a decent amount of selections. It was a little hard to find while not paying attention to Google maps. It's in this little farm store looking place with a carousel. There's an organic store, an antique shop, and a crossfit place in the back. Owowcow is next to the organic store. I had a cookies and cream milkshake. Milkshakes come in two sizes. The large is only $1 more so of course I had to go with that. It was big and creamy. The service was average, and it wasn't crowded on a late summer Saturday during the day I think it would be neat if they had wider straws for the milkshakes with pieces in them like chocolate chip, cookies and cream, etc. read more
