Too bad these guys pulled a no-show/no-call on us when we called them to come by and do up a quote…read morefor several jobs around our home. We'd previously had Scotty/his team come out and do a great job on a roof repair in the past, so we didn't hesitate to contact them again. After providing him a synopsis of what we needed for this new job, we agreed on a day/time for him to come out and do an estimate. No call. No show. What a waste of our time. No idea what happened there. We chalked it up to something serious may have happened and moved on with other quotes. Just recently, our elderly neighbours needed a roof repair and possibly another roof-type job done. I recommended Top Dog/Scotty based on the quality of work they'd done, and included a warning about the no-show. My neighbours called/texted etc, no reply, so we all assumed they were just too busy or not interested. I called Top Dog, left a message asking a) if they are still in business b) could they at least call our neighbours back... all factors that would help us make our decision about recommending them at all. They finally called our neighbours, set up a date/time for the estimate, and yup. You guessed it. NO CALL AND NO SHOW. Rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional. 3 strikes, you're out. *Updated: I received a random text immediately after posting the original review (I can only assume the text was from the business owner), sarcastically thanking me for a 1 star review, and incorrectly saying this was due to their not accepting the job. This text offered no dialogue, no questions, no offer to make good, no explanation or apology or accountability from them, just a snarky, unprofessional text.

PAVERSCAPE RESCUED OUR DRIVEWAY…read more After a disastrous attempt by another company (which is now hopefully out of business) that ruined our driveway overhaul, we found PaverScape to completely redo the project. David Lugo and Amy Phelps run a fantastic company with employees, not sub-contractors. They have been in business since the late 1990's. They have completed such large projects as the Towne Center hardscape ("everything you walk on, sit on, and drive on"), to small residential projects as well. They were great fun to work with, and their entire crew worked to completely redo our driveway. The precision exhibited by their crew was impeccable. They are both engineers and artists. Our new driveway has garnered many compliments. They are in demand, so it might take a while to get to your project, but they are well worth the wait. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND you hire PAVERSCAPE for your next hardscape, pool, or landscape projects.

PaverScapes did a brick paver driveway for us in 2020. The work was 100% guaranteed for life not to…read morehave weeds grow or ants come up through the pavers. The day the driveway was being sealed it began to rain and instead of stopping, the crew continued in the rain. As a result, the Polysand never set properly. The owner had explicitly stated that the conditions must be dry for the proper setting of the material. The next summer weeds grew through the pavers. We contacted PaverScapes to have them reseal the pavers. That summer came and went. All the while, they were promising to come fix it. The first excuse was he would redo it when he had another job in the neighborhood. We spoke to him when he was here in the neighborhood and he again said that he would fix it. That was in February 2024 and we still haven't had any resolution. We are still waiting for him to stand behind his word.

His pricing was very competitive and included upgrades like using a 6" gutter instead of 4". I asked to get on his schedule and he had an opening just a few days later! Even though his helper didn't show, Miles did and got right to work. This was a two day job and Miles worked non-stop to finish. The final result is outstanding. The gutters really makes the house look so much nicer. Miles was very thoughtful with symmetry and placement of the down spouts too! I couldn't be happier. If you're in the market, be sure to have him give a bid because I'm betting it will be a good one.

He offered me a card, and gave me what I deemed to be a fair price. I asked him if he could do the work immediately, which he agreed to. As he was finishing, he showed me one downspout with roots growing up into it, which caused a complete blockage, which he then repaired. He informed me that he had inspected all of the other downspouts and they were clear. He was very efficient, and I will call him again.

I've had my walls painted in the den, living room, hallway, and entry hall. the painter also painted my cabinets on site, and did an amazing job. He indicated he didn't know what type paint the contractor used, because it wasn't oil based because when he sanded it, it had a powdery feel to it, oil base wouldn't do that. He also stated if I hadn't painted my cabinets, I wouldn't be able to wash them. They were not smooth, and had a dull finish with powdery substance on it. On a second note, he stated that the contractor did a great job with backsplash, Mosaic, flooring, building cabinets, and did a good job painting walls and ceilings, and didnt need a redo, and I agree. I paid the contractor $1350 for the painting of the rooms, and $2500 for the painting of the cabinets. Once again it is sad that the contractor cannot contact me concerning these issues or take responsibility. But if he can live with it so can I.
