Vacationers and locals, this is the best vet in the area. Why? I had taken my rescued dog to another vet in the area (over a bridge). This dog is 13 and was going to be put down so we took it in. It had a growth on it's neck. I had taken it along with my other dog. I said how they both needed all shots, etc. and I only had $240 towards them both, I said do what you can do with that. Please don't go over that. Not only did they give me a $462 dollar bill, they said a biopsy of the growth of the older dog was an extra $150, said it was a lymphnode and felt hard- cancerous you know...Frustrated for the poor dog, three weeks later I took her to Dr. Taylor. I told him what I could spend and what I was dealing with. He biopsied the growth for next to nothing. It was a protein growth, not cancer...it was causing the dog discomfort, but was manageable. Not only that, he gave her meds that shrunk it and she is running around like a puppy. She is now 15. He is so incredibly reasonable, and it isn't all about a show for the wealthy or profit. He truly worked with my concerns as an owner, and my price capabilities. Some days, I can appear wealthy, some, not so much. But it didn't matter to this company. What mattered were my needs and the animal's. It is a very low key, quiet vet clinic, hidden in a small yellow strip mall near milepost 4 I think, and worth every bit of trouble to find it. You won't have music, or ambience that tries to convince you of its greatness. It just IS great, no fake tricks to make you think it is quality. I have referred many unhappy clients of the two other vets in the area to him who are unbelievably thankful for his pricing and work. Robin read more
