When I saw that my order went through and was anticipated to ship a few days from the time I place my order, I screamed "NO F'N WAY." Not believing it would go through, I lowered my expectations as I had another order from a competitor cancelled with NO communication. So I waited a total of 5 days. And guess what!? It showed up! The order went through and I got exactly what I ordered!!! They somehow got me what I wanted despite unheard of demand and severe challenges to supply chain and logistics! Sterling 9x19mm luger FMJ and I've tried it in 6 different platforms and have yet to fire 5 rounds with a malfunction. I tried to contact Outdoor Limited and they promptly sent me a link to their policy which essentially says "we didn't make it, its not our problem, you have to follow up on your own with the manufacturer" Ok Sterling is Turkish ammo, I emailed, I called- nothing and Outdoor Limited is unwilling to help with the remaining 900 plus rounds. I will never do business with them again and would caution others to reconsider. Update- Sterling has agreed to refund my money but needs to do it through the supply chain and Outdoor limited is only offering to refund half of the value of whatever I send back, so I only have hazmat fees plus shipping for a 50% refund? Previously had a 5-star review based on my first purchase. I have ordered from here twice. Not the best prices, but not bad either. It has 22 mag that I like for a decent price but you can get bulk 9 mm etc... cheaper other places. My items have arrived on time and packaged well. 2 stars off for lack of working with customers. I placed an order on Feb 1, later found a better deal. I asked to have the order cancelled within 12 hrs, which should not be very difficult as it had not shipped. The company replied "please be advised you signed off on the terms and conditions where it states once an order is placed it cannot be cancelled or modified" and would not budge. They said it had left their warehouse and they would request a trace which would force FedEx to look for it. They said their policy was to wait for a month before they would issue a refund or replacement. I told them that waiting for another two weeks was completely unacceptable. That's when they started to ignore my emails. Lo and behold, three days before the deadline, FedEx magically received the package. I have to admit I looked at the negative Yelp reviews after I put in my $200+ order. As the national news seems to get worse everyday, I decided to improve my ammo locker with tradable quantities of common handgun ammo at decent prices. I received all the expected receipt emails from OL in a reasonable amount of time. A few days later, I received an email about shipping info. A few days later, I received my heavy product, that could have been packaged a little better, but in one piece with nylon packaging strapped keeping it all together. My final opinion is that the negative reviews were unreasonable, or isolated incidents at best. Sounds like customers who are overly impatient. I can only write about pick-up experience as they are local. Overall they have a huge selection of ammo - restocked regularly. While it's becoming harder and harder to find, they seem to always have something within a day or two. Typically I place an order in the morning and can go pick up that afternoon or the next day. All ammo has been top quality, sealed new. All orders have been correct. You probably won't get them on the phone but email and text (after your order is ready) works great. I complained to the company, I was told that the would file damaged claim with ups, and I would receive a refund. I received only two boxes of ammo. The would not return my phone calls after this. This ammunition is unsafe to use in my gun due to risk of injury. The credit card dispute dept said that I never tried to return the item, but if they would check there company policy on returns, the would have know No Returns on Ammunition. I placed an order for a couple of things. They were behind on shipping orders and I was heading out of town for a week. Since it took so long for them to prepare the order for shipping, I contacted CS, told them when I would be returning and asked them to hold the order for a week so it didn't sit outside my front door the whole time I was away. They told me they could only hold it for 3 days and then they shipped it right away without holding it at all. They said UPS would hold it for a week, which was also wrong information and the package was shipped back to them before I got home. Then they told me I would have to pay to have the order sent back out to me. I told them that was unacceptable, asked to speak with a manager and they responded "we are processing a refund." No further communication at all. What a total disaster. No matter how inexpensive their ammo is I would never recommend this company to anybody. Now lets delve a bit deeper into this subject. They are currently charging $50.00 per box of 50 rounds of 9mm. Plainly, Outdoor Limited has jumped on the bandwagon of price gouging the American Citizenry. Regardless of political climate, pandemic etc., this is nothing short of unethical conduct in sales tactics. Obviously, they have no perception of how they would feel if the roles were reversed. I purchased an RWB Drum Magazine, it broke almost immediately upon loading ammunition into it. Outdoor Limited refused to accept a return, instead providing me with the manufacturer's information, and basically telling me I'm on my own. After weeks of failed attempts to contact the manufacturer on my own, both via e-mail as well as by phone, I again contacted Outdoor Limited and they agreed to take the magazine back for a full refund. At this point I was feeling better about my experience. Unfortunately that's not the end of it. Actually, that's not even the beginning. My first bout of unhappiness with them is the fact that they basically tricked me into purchasing "shipping protection" for $2.00. Using a desktop it's fairly clear that the box is checked automatically, and you have to manually un-check it to decline the protection. However, I did not make the purchase on a desktop, I did so using my phone. Using a mobile browser is not so apparent, and because the box is automatically checked, I did not see it until after I submitted the order. Immediately upon submission, I then noticed the $2.00 upcharge and e-mailed them, asking to have it credited back. They declined, of course. Now back to the defective item issue. I went ahead and sent the item back to them, $9 more out of my pocket, which I just considered a "stupid tax" for ever having done business with them in the first place. Thus far I have spent $88 for this $60 piece of plastic garbage, which is made in Korea, by a company named RWB(Red, White, Blue). They are now offering me the refund in the form of an in-store credit. Now that they have the item back, they're screwing me...again! What's worse, they're only going to give me a percentage of the price of THE ITEM, not a percentage of the total purchase price with shipping and tax and the $2 theft(shipping protection). So the $60 piece of plastic crap that I have spent almost $90 on is going to end up being worth a 50-something dollar in-store credit to this place that sells lots of other stuff that I don't need, as well as plenty of over-priced ammunition. I hope that my review is taken seriously and Outdoor Limited decides to revise their customer service policy surrounding the defective items that they sell. I am highly disappointed, to say the least. I very much recommend not buying any products made by RWB. Instead, give your money to ProMag. Their magazines are of far greater quality, using steel feed lips and much higher quality components. I ended up giving more of my money to grabagun.com. If I'd have only spent more time looking for what I wanted, I'd have found them in the first place! And the price is actually a little less for the ProMag than what Outdoor Limited charged me for the crappy one! Now I have a ProMag that is great, and will probably outlast me!
