We were seated quickly by a friendly hostess, our waitress was nice and took our order quickly, someone came by once our salads were there and we didn't have silverware and they went and got it in less than minute. On my most recent visit, I swore it would be my last. Raw bacon with raw bacon fat was in our caprese salad (tomatoes and mozzarella cheese), took our waitress 20 minutes to get our drinks to us, in the meantime, the table behind us was seated after us, they received their drinks, bread AND appetizers. Wouldn't be so bad except we had the same waitress. Our pretzels were burnt. It is not the first time we have had poor service, under or over cooked food, and an over all unpleasant experience. I really dislike writing a bad review and will try a place a second time before i decide to tell it like it is. All these visits were to the bar. 1st visit, 25 Feb: No complaints, standard Outback fare done well. Second visit. Sat at the bar for some time and had to ask several times for service. "I'll have a very dry Martini and a menu, thanks." Menu arrives and another long wait on a slow weekday. Drink arrives and more waiting to order. Order is taken and food arrives in a reasonable time. Steak salad. Meat was way over cooked and the blue cheese dressing was watery. Got half way thru it and found a very long hair. I was done. Third visit. Was asked for my drink order and if I'd like a menu before i even sat down. Saw a co worker and move a few seats to chat as we ate. Was ignored by the staff for the next 20 minutes until my buddy finally got up and got some attention. Then it was like a replay. Drink (poorly made), no menu, finally got an order in 30 minutes after waking in the door. Another half hour passes and the manager comes out and says the steak was over cooked. It would only be a few more minutes until they cooked another. One hour and 50 minutes later, i paid for the drink and the manager came out and apologized profusely and said he put the steak on a Togo container. This place is always great! The food is always delicious, and cooked perfectly. The portions are bountiful and the staff is always on the ball and very polite. This is the best show in town here in Troy, Ohio. There is not another restaurant the can provide the combination of great food, great service and great atmosphere anywhere near this price point. read more

The resturant should be open at 4pm if the sign says Monday-Friday 4pm-10pm. I pulled in at 3:55pm, decided to wait a few moments, walked up to the door at 4:03pm only to find the doors were still locked. I dont have time to wait around when Im on my break. read more

2 of our 3 steaks were cooked perfectly. Our filet was really overcooked. Sent it back, it took a long time, when they brought the steak back out it was missing one of the sides. Took forever for refills and to get our bill. When we finally got our bill (they took nothing off for the overcooked steak) we were charged 16.99 for a meal that was advertised for 15.99. I pointed this out to the manager, she walked away to check into it, after being gone for more than 10 min, she comes back and gives me a receipt that shows a $1 credit but then tells me she had to refund the whole bill and needs to charge it again, she needed my card. Never received a receipt showing the full refund, had to go back in to get this, only to wait an additional 6 min for a hostess or anyone to come up to me. I ended up having to walk clear across the restaurant to get the manager to ask for copy of my receipt that showed the refund. What should have taken 5 minutes total, took well over 20. I never even got the feeling they were sorry for all of the hassle. I continue to give toys location chances, I'm done. Miller lane's service is a million times better. read more

I do not want to write this review. After thinking about it I must. I am 67 and my grandson is 16. We stopped for lunch on a wednesday. The food was good, the waitress excellent. We left about 2:30 pm. My grandson's became very tired with a depressed look on his face. He could hardly keep his eyes open. I was feeling like I had been drugged. I do not know what caused this feeling of being drugged; but I hope we were not slipped something. I called the manager so they could keep a close eye on their employee's. I was an RN for 32 years so I know the signs of drugs. I am sorry; but I fear we were slipped a micky. I am glad my grandson and I made it home in one piece. read more

Terrible...will not be going back!! My husband and I arrived there today at 5:00 and was told we would have a 20 minute wait. After 35 minutes I asked how much longer and was told we were next. Another 10 minutes went by and the waitress came over to me and said our wait is going to be longer. At that point I told her to forget it then she asked if I wanted to speak to the manager. The bread is good and the Aussie fries are good. If you came to this steakhouse for a steak be prepared to be disappointed. Always messed up. Steak is always over done no matter which way you have it cooked. On our last visit the soup was cold and there was a hair in the mashed potatoes. AWFUL. Have given this place more than one try and each time it gets worse. The first time the service was terrible, there was chewing gum stuck in the menus,my well done steak was dripping with blood, I could go on and on but I will skip to the final. I ordered the Porterhouse PORKchops and she asked how I'd like it done.. You are only supposed to eat Pork well cooked, so that's what I said. The lighting is always low in there and I have poor vision anyway so I didn't notice, I cut into the pork chop and took a bite and it was raw- talking raw fish texture. I nearly vomited. The waitress came, I showed her and she looked just as appalled as I did. About 15 minutes later the manager came out and said "the waitress told me you don't want your food, is there a problem?" Well not only did we wait outside for 40 minutes to get a table, why would I just decide I didn't want my food?! Apparently she never mentioned that it was raw. I was so upset. I generally love the outback, this one left me with a bad taste in my mouth. The floor was so greasy you could do the moon walk across it without trying, urinal in the bathroom was leaking with a huge puddle of water in the middle of the restroom with a fan placed in there thinking it was going to dry it up I guess. There was 7 to 8 tables and our food took forever, then when it came there were mix ups and 2 orders had no mash potatoes, we ate and the mp's came about when we were finished, the bills were mixed up and our waiter was almost nowhere to be found for a drink or to check in all night, while all this was going on the manager and another employee had time to sit down and shoot it with some friends at the table across from us. I'm giving 1 star for the young lady that held the door for me on the way out because that was the only thing I wanted to see at the end of this experience! read more

We were seated right away. Waitress came in a timely manner, and took our drink order. We put our order in for the BLOOMIN' ONION. That was mistake number one. It came back overcooked, and greasy. Didn't see the grease til about 1/2 done. The all you can eat bread came with butter that was as hard as concrete, so the bread tore. It was too crusty on top for the knife to cut through so we pushed our way through the bread which didn't make it too attractive, but hey we were hungry. We told the waitress, and she even complained about the butter, so she took our butter, and warmed it for us, which made it better. Refills on drinks in a timely manner. Dinner ordered, and when it came I told my husband and said "redemption" the plates looked appetizing. I went for my "loaded" baked potato first. All the trimmings made it cold. So I started stirring the ingredients which really made it look like someone barfed in the darn thing. I went to the lobster tails. I pulled the meat away from the shell, and found it to be tough. The broccoli was good. My husband was disappointed in his portion size for the price. He got the chicken with mushrooms and marsala "gravy". All in all I can't say we won't be back but we will certainly be going to another location. We will give it one more try before crossing this restaurant off of our list. read more
