I always have to get the pork chops, they are some of the best anywhere. Large & on the bone, I can only eat one, but happy to have the second for leftovers next day. And when I'm at home I can gnaw on the bones. the chops are grilled to order, medium well is juicy and cooked with a slight pink tinge, very definitely safe to eat imho. And they're delicious! Ah Outback, our family likes this chain but i'm not that partial to it as there are but just a handful of things on the menu that I really like. The Blooming Shrimp and coconut shrimp are favorites of our household and I'm partial to the Toowoomba Salmon. The bread is great and they make a pretty decent side salad. The place can be a bit loud and sometimes the service is a toss-up. This is a pretty nice place as far as steakhouses go as there is a decent enough selection... the trouble is, i simply have never been a fan of the way they season meats, the Australian spice blend is a bit overpowering and fairly spicy (they use this same spice blend in other variations for a lot of dishes as well such as the Alice Spring's chicken, another reason i'm not a fan) However, the good news is there is a new dish there that I really did enjoy called the Seared Peppered Ahi... a super-rare (basically sashimi or poke bowl) series of sliced fish on top of an asian salad served with wasabi and a soy ginger dressing on the side. I very much enjoyed it and would recommend it to fans of sashimi. Not the kind of thing I would expect to find at Outback! Went really well with a side order of their seasoned rice. read more

We were celebrating a birthday party and called ahead for a 6:30 time. Waited at least 30 minutes and other 6 person groups that came in after us were seated prior to us. Finally got seated and ordered appetizers and food. Got our appetizers and waited a long time. Again multiple guests that sat down after us got their food, we still didn't have ours. We met for lunch to celebrate a friend's 69th birthday. I hadn't been to an Outback in a few years, but this was the Birthday Girl's request. We all enjoyed our food; the special cocktails we had were delicious; and our server, Kit, was attentive, friendly, and helpful. We DoorDashed to our hotel which was quite convenient, but the food quality varied greatly. I really enjoyed the Alice Springs Chicken, but the mashed potatoes lacked proper texture as if they were reheated after being refrigerated. This location is a decent spot for dinner. They have a big dining room and indoor and outdoor seating along with a bar. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, they have good meal deals. They have happy hour but last time we went they were completely out of the beer they were promoting on draft. I ordered the margarita sampler and although it was a cool idea to serve it in a boomerang there were no labels to know what you were drinking and it had obviously been sitting at the bar for a while and all 4 samples had a lot of ice and were super watered down. I wouldn't order again. The food, though, is always good here. I especially like their steaks and chopped salad. The blooming onion is a favorite for an appetizer. Service is unpredictable. Sometimes, we have an attentive server and other times we have one that forgets about us and never brings bread or refills. They seem to have a system where the servers now work with a runner/busser who assists them. This was the case last night where our server would put in our requests on a tablet and it would be delivered by a runner. When we never received bread (about 30 minutes after being sat) and finally had the server return to check on us, she blamed the runner. "OH, they never brought it. Sorry they did that", instead of checking on us herself. Just like how we never got silverware or app plates from her too. Not a fan of this system and the servers that slack b/c of it. Everything was over-cooked. The burger, the steaks, the chicken ... all dried out. The fries tasted like they were microwaved from yesterday. The tea was so weak it was almost clear and the server ... bless their heart. We were here last month and everything was outstanding so we thought it was a safe bet coming again. Been a while since I've eaten at an Outback. My friend wanted to eat here at lunch (had a gift card). Arrived at 11:30 on a Wednesday. We were just about the only customers there. Some more trickled in during our 1.5 hr lunch. Service: our waitress was attentive & friendly. No complaints. Ambience: clean Food: ordered the lunch combo & chose the 2 chicken soft tacos w/a side of their new mac & cheese. The tacos were kind of dry, no cheese, but did come with a cilantro guacamole-like sauce which I slathered on them. Also asked for Tabasco for some flavor/heat. The mac & cheese was cavatappi pasta w/a lot of black pepper. I prefer more creamy w/a good cheese stretch. Probably not the best choice to order at a steakhouse (tacos). Very busy for a Wednesday night. The surprise came when we walked in and were immediately seated. Our waitress was attentive, bringing menus and bread right away. We really enjoy the salad and the bread from Outback so we dropped in for dinner. Started with a blooming onion. It was cooked pretty crispy but still tasty. My husband ordered the wood fired shrimp and he said that the shrimp were kinda rubbery. Our friends coconut shrimp was as crispy as the blooming onion. I ordered a steak which was cooked correctly and the baked potato was a bit over done. Our friend ordered the pineapple pork said it was great just not enough of it. So... I come here one a month usually sometimes more because I can always except good to great service, food, and a good time. First off, I would like to give a shoutout to the bartender Hana! What a good worker, timing was spot on. She is friendly to all that gathered in the bar area as well as her counterparts. Secondly, let's talk food! 6 oz. of sirloin w/shrimp on the Barbie, baked potato, and a pint of bud light! All of which was preceded by a fresh ceased salad! The steak was just a tad over cooked but, was still amazing! I'll put it like this, I'm a medium + kinda guy... just lucky I guess. But if it hit medium well... I will eat that no problem- not that big of a difference. Let me finish this up by saying that the bar area is always fun and low key. ;-) but man! This place pumps out good food and good times! This is not just for this location alone, but for all Outback Steakhouse locations (or at least I hope all other locations are following suit). I went to this place recently and the food I got was quite different from what I have had at other Outback Steakhouse spots in the past (in a good way). I am specifically referring to portion sizes and how they have gotten things down to human portions and in portions that would feed two to three people. In the past, that's how all meals I've gotten were like and I ended up almost always taking a doggy bag home or got sick afterwards. This recent change to portions has completely taken that away and I greatly appreciate. Please keep it going as long as possible! read more

I've been to many Outback Steakhouse's. They are not stellar but they are reliable and always decent. I'm sad to say not this one. Now the service was excellent. The waiter was good. The manager was on point and reacted generously taking out the entrees, both of them from out check. That was good The bad part was the food. Me and coworker ordered the same dish, the steak salad entree. Mine with honey mustard. His with blue cheese dressing. They were both not good. The walnuts they use have cinnamon so my salad tasted like I was eating cereal. My buds was not even that different. I tried to eat mine but I just couldn't. Hint. They did not look like the pictures. Because I was hungry I ordered the cheese quesadillas. They were not that great either. These ones had bacon and only tasted like bacon. No cheese, no chicken flavor. I know this sound picky but after returning one dish I had hopes they will get this one right. I really wanted to like the place but I can't recommend. The absolute worst food I've ever eaten. Ordered a filet. It was half inedible fat globules, raw, and had a vein running through it. I almost gagged trying to remove the fat. There is no way in h*** this was a "filet"!! I was refunded for the steak. We've been patronizing this location for at least two years on a consistent basis. The service is usually excellent and it's always a pleasant experience. However, that's not what happened today. We had a large party of 30 people celebrating Father's Day. After the meal, the computer apparently went down for an extended period of time and we were left there waiting. Once the computers finally came back up, we were not offered any sort of discount for the inconvenience and were only met with an excuse based apology. It was unfortunate and disappointing. So I usually sport this Outback on weekends. In fact, I've frequented them at this Springdale location, at least twice monthly for the last 4 years. I really do love me some outback. However, over the last 90-120 days (I understand COVID issues) the service and the quality of the meals in the Curbside To Go has deteriorated rapidly. For example, last Friday, my wife and I went to get the follow dinner - Victoria's Filet Mignon (Medium) - Victoria's Filet Mignon (Medium Rare) - 2 Shrimp Scampi Skewers - 1 Coconut Shrimp - 1 Blooming Onion This is basically a format of what we get each time we go. This last trip finally had me so upset I created this yelp account to say something. The meals were wrong. Again. In fact; They have been wrong the last 3 trips, in some form or fashion, but they are small issues usually, like a shrimp side got left out, or there wasn't any bread, etc --- things like that, and I'm certainly not a "Karen" so I don't bother to call back or do any of that jazz. In this instance though, both "filets" were not actually filets at all, they were much lower quality meat. Which says something in itself because usually that's not an issue here. Every side in the bag was wrong, I'm not sure if we just got the "wrong bag" or if they were really that backwards that night. My point is this, I spend decent $ + tip each trip to this "Steakhouse" and although everything is primarily curbside (which is totally fine) -- id still at least like the correct order, as well as well prepped food. It's been an issue for a while now, the to go service has quite frankly just sucked & now has progressed to it's become tough to get a correct order at all, which is frustrating when I'm dropping a $100 + each go around. 2 stars for the history. 1 more star if they fix it 2 more stars if they replace & comp the last meal they absolutely butchered. read more

I came in fairly late to inquire about some catering services for my team at FSNS down the road a bit. Got to speak with the manager Brennan and he could not have been more helpful and professional! I felt bad cause of how late it was but he helped me get everything I needed and did a great job at keeping an eye on his employees to make sure their needs were covered as well. Came here for dinner and we had a good time. There was no wait and were seated right away. Our waiter overall gave us good customer service and was helpful and friendly. Every so often we crave a good meal from Outback Steakhouse. I've eaten at a good amount of Outback Steakhouses and this one was consistent with the others aka they have all been good (so far for me)! I love their blooming' onion, I could eat the whole thing (but regret it later haha). I also love their salmon and of course who can pass up their delicious bread and butter! This place is hit and miss , the floors are slick, like from grease or something I thought it was just a one time thing but every time you go in there and the floors are very slick so be very careful about that also I always have to send back my silverware and my plates because they're dirty I just don't know what goes on there but it is what it is. They must have a turnover and help because you have a lot of waiters or waitresses that forget that you're there and you're there to eat so sometimes it takes longer, maybe if they see or read this on yelp about the floors they will clean them up and also , make sure the dishes and glasses and plates are clean , big turn off when your drink comes to you with lipstick on it and your now wearing any!! read more
