We were on The Ghan train and departed in Alice Springs to be taken to Uluru by Outback Spirit Tours. This was a fantastic tour! Kane and Jerry were amazing tour guides, did a great job of managing the 26 people in this tour. We spent 2 nights at the Discovery Resorts close to Kings Canyon. The Rim Walk at Kings Canyon was spectacular- especially the North side. We then spent 2 nights at Sails in the Desert so we could access all there was close to Uluru. At each stop with a hike, they offered 2 options depending on how you were feeling that day. There were several stops to view areas of interest. We went to a couple of nighttime events. They had so much lined up for us. The only reason I took off one star was because at some of the locations where we were passing through, the prepared lunches were really not that good. I would have gladly paid a bit more for a more appetizing meal. But I would certainly travel with them again as they did such a good job of curating the best adventures. read more
