But the second I stepped foot into the door the attendant was treating me like a criminal. He asked where my parents were (which I explained I was 17 and didn't need them.) and then had me explain why I was even there in the first place--which I told him about the Pierrot. The entire time I was browsing he was watching me which was extremely uncomfortable. On my way out he asked if I found anything, and I told him I didn't find the Pierrot. And then he said "it's always suspicious when a kid comes in without their parent." I understand the apprehension, but why should that affect me, a potential customer who had clear intentions on what they were there for. It just felt very uncomfortable and was not a great experience. Will not be coming back. (I should clarify. This was only the top level. Underground antiques, the lower level, is absolutely amazing.
