I was very impressed with the care and respect I was given, especially as a foreigner. The entire atmosphere felt so calming and peaceful, so unlike the emergency rooms I have experienced in the US. Everything was set up to be so humane, and everyone I encountered was so kind. It was also reassuring that every staff person spoke English and I could easily communicate. When I left, they showed me the way out and never presented me with a bill. Other than the taxi ride, my visit was free of charge.
