Truly a horrible experience. I called to make an appointment to speak with Corey Blake for my mom…read morewho lives an hour away from the office. Because she cannot drive I flew from California to Portland and rented a car to pick her up and drive an hour to get to the appointment. I told the woman on the phone when I made the appointment I would be traveling from California to get my mom there. When we arrived there they charged our card and there were no signs of anyone remembering the appointment I made a few days prior. We waited around to find out that Corey Blake was not coming. They didn't tell us until we already waited past the appointment time. No call, no notice, no apology from him. I Took work off, paid over 1k in travel expenses and was met with a "sorry he's not coming". Horrible experience.

Scott was great getting my boat in for an annual maintenance and a couple other items that need addressing. What I really wanted to point out is the integrity of Scott. I had asked him to check if the kicker needed service and if so, go ahead. I dont use it much. He checked it out and when I picked it up let me know the oil level and color was still good, he did not feel it needed to be replaced. Other mechanics may just take the opportunity to change it and then charge for it. That went a long ways for me visiting a new shop. You never know what you are getting. Scott also was highly recommended by others on a FB group I belong to, and that is why I came here.

I tried SO hard to like this attorney and keep liking her. She was nice at first. BUT this attorney…read morehas now been dragging the completion of a simple document revision on for well over a YEAR -- after having insisted that I pay her fee up front first, which I did... what was it, in April of 2017? She acts sweet and happy no matter how bad her behavior--as if she's done nothing wrong. I feel like the sweet act is to manipulate you into shutting up and taking the ongoing lack of work owed. She has used it to continue to lead us on for weeks and months at a time repeatedly. I'm starting to think this is how she keeps people from filing complaints. There has been a heartbreaking string of unprofessional and dishonest actions from this person, even after I told her that her continued delays were keeping me from getting medical treatment that I require. What a terrible shame. This has been a highly disappointing and frustrating experience. It appears I may have to make my own damned revisions. SO unprofessional of her to put a client in this position.

We started building our ocean front house last Aug. We have just finished the framing, and our…read morehouse now has a water proof roof!!! Sometime next week, the exterior doors and windows will be put in, and the house will finally be, 'weathered in!' It has been so exciting to see the beautiful house that Dustin and Amanda designed, actually take shape! It has been quite an adventure, it has taken longer, and been more difficult than we expected. Dustin and Amanda, have always been there for us. They keep very close track of what is going on, they have made so many on site visits and know step by step what is happening at the building site, and keep us well informed (we live in Seattle and the house is in Depoe Bay). They are in close communication, especially with my general contractor. One time in particular, they had a serious talk with my general contractor, (my own attempts at voicing my frustrations had completely failed), which was extremely helpful in getting things moving at a faster pace. Many times, I have been very impressed watching Dustin talking with various sub contractors. Dustin understands in detail, what their concerns are, and is able to make positive suggestions. My wife and I are so happy that we chose Capri Architecture. Without their ideas and support, this whole building process would have ended in failure. If we had hired a 'designer', instead of an architect, the house would have been ordinary, not a beautiful, custom designed house on a challenging site, and there would have been little of their critical support. This is why Capri Architecture deserves a 5 star rating Rod and Hideko rodhideko@gmail.com

I love working with Dustin and Amanda of Capri Architecture! They are great people and easy to…read morework with. They listened to what I wanted and were willing to work to help me achieve my dream house, even if I wanted something a little different than what they designed. Dustin and Amanda were active in helping me find and interview builders. Their plans were very detailed and they helped me through the permit process. They also worked with my building contractor to firm up the plans and make changes to save me a few dollars. They are both easy to reach by telephone and Dustin was always right on top of things, getting bids, collecting information, etc., so that I could move forward with my future home. Here is how I started: I looked up reviews for architects in the local area as a preliminary step. They had many positive reviews. I also noted they designed projects for government entities, so I assumed they were fully vetted in that process. They are young and energetic. After meeting with them and looking at their designs, I could see that they would be enthusiastic about designing a modern-looking home. I also like that they provide oversight during the builder process, which helps me tremendously because I am out-of-state. We are not done yet. Building could start as early as July 2017. I would hope to update this review when everything is done.
