Update : the last time I was there I couldn't enjoy the food . I had the chicken burger . It was not even like real chicken . More like an omelette . The burger didn't taste . The fries were to greasy . read more

Usually if you are looking for a good burger or dönner, your first options all always the small hidden places for the best experience. And I have to say that usually that's the way to go, and I won't even try you to convince to change your place. However the next time when you are in rush, or after a long party night on the Zülpicher, or just want to grab a really tasty dönner, consider Ottoman's. Good looking, and with a face that should easily compete with big chains like McD and Burger King, Ottoman's has one of the best dönners in Cologne. The price is 4€ and you have 2 choices of meet. Nothing special thill this point. The difference, however, is made by the quality and freshness of the ingredients and the size of the meal you get for the same amount of money as at the most places. The option to take a whole meal is a big + and on the budget. The nice, clean and friendly lobby and the possibility to use the toilets is an other big +. My advice, give it a try, and convince yourself. P.S. The dönner form Ottoman's is in my opinion the second best I ever tried, after the one from Düsseldorf! read more

Ich schließe mich der Merheit an und kann nur folgendes mitteilen: Ladenlokal in seiner Aufmachung: perfect Personal : Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend Preise: Besser als die Konkurrenz aus den USA Geschmack: Nun ja, darüber lässt sich streiten aber ich glaube ich weiss warum es derzeit so schmeckt, wie es schmeckt. Den Döner, den wir jetzt seit Jahrzehnten kennen, schmeckt nicht nur frisch (so sollte es in der Norm sein), sondern auch gut gewürzt. Ich meine wirklich gewürzt, So das einem alle Öffnungen mit der Zeit brennen und auch 6 Stunden nach dem Verzehr jeder weiß, dass du bei Ali Baba Döner essen warst. Auch die nicht Scharfen Gewürze sind meistens sehr penetrant im Geschmack und Duftintensität. Und hier wollte wohl Ottoman sich mehr auf deutsche Kundschaft bzw deren Küche anlehnen und dezent ausfallen. Aber Tatsache ist, dass der Deutsche heute teilweise schärfer ist, als manch ein Türke. Und irgendwie hat es sich in unsere Köpfe eingeritzt, dass wenn wir Döner essen, es etwas auf der Zunge brennen muss und man halt danach richt. Lösung: Wir die Konsumenten sollten einfach akzeptieren, dass Ottoman solch eine starke Dunstabzugshaube hat, dass wir da nie mit unseren Klamotten nach dem Essen wie das Essen duften werden. Und Ottoman sollte ruhig seinem Namen gerecht werden und ruhig etwas mehr Würze durch Gewürze reinbringen. read more

Der Burger schmeckte nach Discounter Fertig-Burger. Irgendwas mit Gewürz und Stärke gemischtes Zeug. Bedienung bzw. Kassiererin war frech und machte sich über die Art und Weise der Bestellung lustig. Wiederholte auf eine lächerliche und sarkastische Art und Weise den selben Satz, den ich aussprach. Zeitpunkt (11.08.2013 ca. 17 uhr). Keine Servietten auf dem Tablett und auf Anfrage gab es nur zwei für 4 Personen. Mein Gott es sind nur Servietten. Sparen am falschen Ende. Ketchup oder Mayo nicht im Menü erhalten und kosten extra und wurde erst nach der Bestellung darüber informiert. Sparen am falschen Ende. Getränk kaum mit Kohlensäure und wenig Cola Geschmack. Falsche Dosierung beim Mischen. Irgendein alter Anzugs-Typ mischte sich während der Bestellung ein und stellte mir zwischendurch die gleichen Fragen wie die Kassiererin, richtig unprofessionell. Ich wusste nicht mehr wer mein Ansprechpartner war. Diese Bude ist sonst nur sauber und nur für eine Bockwurst gut, falls ich sie wieder besuchen sollte. read more

Wir toller Laden! Ich setze mich gerne mit Freunden bei Ottoman's mittags rein. Das Ambiente ist nett, die Bedienung freundlich und vorallem kann ich essen ohne mir Sorgen machen zu müssen. Alles kontrollierte Qualität, habe mich mit den Mitarbeitern unterhalten. Es soll in naher Zukunft neue Produkte geben, ich bin gespannt! Der beste Dönerladen der Stadt. Hier gibts den leckersten Kalbsfleisch Döner. Wirklich ganz zartes und vor allem frisches Fleisch, daher kostet der Döner hier auch 4 Euro, das gebe ich gerne dafur aus. Stylisches Resturant, sehr saubere Theke, man merkt das hier vom Personal stark drauf geachtet wird. Personal normal freundlich. Endlich mal Döner essen ohne danach zu stinken. Preis Leistung ist sehr gut. Die Hamburger sind viel größer als bei McD und Co.. Der Laden ist gut eingerichtet und hat Aufenthaltsqualität. Es gibt auch innovative Angebote wie Dönerwurst. Brauch man die? Na ja ich habe sie probiert und sie schmeckt. Klar gibt es noch die Mega-Burger läden, aber bei denen gibt man mindestens das doppelte aus. read more

Der BESTE BURGER Laden in der Umgebung!! Wow, der Burger ist nicht nur preislich top, sondern auch geschmacklich! Das Bun ist fluffig und fällt nicht auseinander.. Ich esse oft bei Ottomans, mein Favorit ist der Chilli-Cheeseburger! Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, es ist megalecker und günstig. Nur den Döner dort finde ich nicht so gut. read more
