just did one day luncheon country music cruise. wOW ***** if there were more stars in the ratings i would give as many as there was. the bus driver....the tour director....the bus...the lunch...the singers...*****. all rate 5 stars or as much as can be given. i even got the pick-up time muddled and would have missed the cruise but the tour director called me to see why I wasn't there and told me to go to another location where the bus detoured and picked me up. Madeleine C. Just back from a five days tour Maine Lighthouses & Lobsters. Nor my best trip. A lot of extra bus time due to a poor planing , going south then north and back south To return home north. The hotels were nice but odd locations , had to travel 2 hours north or south for suggested visits. The bus was old, no cup holder, no pouch to free our hands during the ride.... The tour director did not seem to be well instructed on the itinerary, read everything from paper when asked a question and relied heavily on the bus driver. Followed another bus from Ottawa Valley going to Cape Cod.. imagine two bus stopping at same rest place for toilets or restaurant, duty free, and border! It doubled the waiting time for half our way down. Was expecting a more organized and professional Tour. read more

We just came back from a 4 day trip to New York City, this was the first time travelling with Ottawa Valley tours and We were not disappointed, our tour guide was Erin, very professional, kind, Friendly and knowledgeable, always asked us if we were ok. We took 4 different subways, buses, on our own, so we could see different things other than what was on the tour , we took a horse and buggy ride in Central Park, Walked the Brooklyn Bride, and went to the summit!! very high!! We had chicken Parm and salad at the hotel delicious!! Our hotel room was very large, beds were amazingly comfortable. Our bus driver Pierre was very kind and often helped me off the bus with my bum knee. We will be booking another trip with Ottawa Valley Tours in 2025. Thank you Thelma and Louise!! read more

Boston Cape Cod: The bus was old and refurbished. Seatbelt too high and sliced across our throats. Had to wrap sweaters or jackets around strap so neck protected. Seats small and jammed so tight there's barely leg room. Didn't rotate seats so everyone gets chance at front seats. Always disembarked front first so back people barely had time to use bathrooms or eat. Bus driver was very good. Guide on bus was not at all knowledgeable despite saying she did this for over 10 years and travelled to this location many times. She looked up answers on Wikipedia and had difficulty reading. Seemed disinterested. One stop for lunch was abysmal at a mall. We all complained we did not want that stop on return trip. Guess what, she put no effort in finding another place and we stopped at exactly the same place where we again scrambled to find food. You get what you pay for I guess and I'm comparing to other tour groups that were much more organized and professional. read more

My wife and I stopped in to ask about a bus and cruise tour which was advertised on their website. One of the women manning the phones at their location at Hazeldean Mall told us that we were stragglers, who should have asked sooner about this tour and that it was no longer available. In my opinion, it should have been deleted from their website if it were no longer available. read more
