He showed up on time with an ample crew who were extremely polite and respectful. They completed an impossible job of removing a giant white oak from my back yard. It was pinned between houses and power lines. They had fantastic equipment and expertise in tree work. No significant property damage occurred. 5.0+ Experience. If you need tree work it wiukd be foolish not to out your trust in this company. I cant thank them enough.

My BBB complaint is still in process so it is currently not one of the others. April 20, 2021 Josh Jagg- doing business as DJ Landscaping- was paid $5000 for a contract (I was an idiot and should have only paid half up front) that should have been completed way before now and as of September 10th he was still saying he would be here to complete the work the following day and he once again failed to show. After each time he failed to show or call I would have to reach out to him and wait for another failed attempt. He changes what is agreed on when talking to him on the phone so get anything and everything in writing and I mean *detailed*. The contract was basic with no details (ie: "weed treatment" instead of "treat whole yard with weed killer for grass") so although created while talking with him and knowing what is discussed at that moment contract does not represent enough detail about specifics that were agreed upon. If it wasnt for all of the messages and texts I kept it would normally be hard for me to prove what was agreed to. While some work was performed he still owes us two tree trunks to be removed and shaping the rest of the tree and the weed treatment that started out as supposedly a "yard my size" treatment that he then changed over the phone to to "cant put on grass" then on a later call "I already sprayed there" when he didnt. His guy at the very beginning even told me to let Amanda ( Joshs wife) and Josh know that weed treatment still needed to be done and tree work still needed done- which I did in messages. Last time I talked to Josh on Sept 10th he was sending guys over that day to put a matt down on an area for weeds (area he says he sprayed but did not) and of course they didnt arrive, and then he was going to be by the next day to do the tree. He called me a short time later that same day to make it a point that I knew he drove by and he would need a cherry picker or bucket truck to do tree which we had already known from original estimate plan, and that I knew he would be there the next day, and then guess what.. they once again failed to show. Two guys showed a few days later and cut some of the low hanging branches but not the major tree work I paid for. For what it is worth he only reached out to me on the 10th because he didnt like the "negative feedback" I had left (accurate experience I had), and he even asked if I could remove it, and yet he didnt show and make things right so I am glad I did not. This business is unreliable, untrustworthy and certainly not the lowest prices as he likes to say, because if the work isnt done it's definitely NOT a good deal. Also the arbitrator he offers for a resolution is very expensive so you end up even further in the hole for his lack of ethics and with no guarantee you will get money back or work done to make arbitration worth the cost. I mean, if he was really going to do the work he wouldnt need an arbitrator tell him to do it, right? I am attaching messages to prove my review since he replied to negative google review as a misunderstanding, which it is not. It is a total failure to fulfill the contract.
