Contacted Bismarck through Yelp to fix my basement drop down textured ceiling due to water damage,…read moreI tried getting quote from other dry wall and painting contractors before Bismarck, they all suggested to skim coat the whole ceiling. After sending some pictures and a quick chat with Dan, he assured me that he can just fixed the damaged area only, and I wouldn't able to tell the difference. After giving me a quote that is a lot less expensive when compare to other contractors. Dan arrived my home the next day on a Saturday morning 5 mins early and had all material setup and prep the area quickly by protecting the Carpet and side walls, he was able to totally fixed the damage area and brand in with two coats of paint and had the texture exactly like nothing had happened before. In between coats, he also tried to fixed my door trims and baseboard upstairs that was destroyed by puppy chew.

He is the entire package - outstanding in every way. His knowledge and experience, attention to detail, the care he has, his standard of excellence, and his very fair pricing, collectively, has surpassed anyone we have ever hired before for this kind of work and really, well beyond. Add to that, you could not find a kinder, personable, and more genuine person than Chris, who we hired for two separate projects -- new construction and existing -- and while he is in high demand, he always tries to fit you in. Chris is a master at his craft, which is a bit rare these days especially in a field with others who believe they are "professional painters" but who lack the knowledge, experience, attention to detail, and finesse. You will love Chris Evans' work and we cannot recommend Sevans Painting and Chris highly enough.

From talking to Rick, I think this is what they pride themselves on more than anything else. He was telling me about how he has jobs in which the paint lasted nearly double the expected time before needing to be refreshed! Think about how much money that saves in the long run! It is nice to know, also, that the people doing the work are friendly and want to make sure you are satisfied with the job. They have that nailed down! Rick showed me some examples of work they have done and it is clear they take their time and really want to do a great job. Super important to have someone who works hard on quality and integrity (and at a great price) when doing a big or small job, and they have that nailed down!

The opposite was true with Denise. She answered my first phone call, and was responsive and professional. She even called to confirm our appointment a couple of days in advance. I agreed to pay more - which was still a very fair price - and she got right to work. Her quality was outstanding!! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.
