I enjoy that Dr. Kolia does a great job in developing rapport with her patients, she has a great memory and likes to see how I'm doing. I love her selection of frames, always very trendy and fashionable. Dr Kolia does an excellent job in finding the frames that's the perfect fit for you. B/c of my dry eyes I tend to favor glasses over contact lenses and I love how they look on me and more the compliments that I receive. I also have astigmatism and I've been pleased with the glasses and daily wear contact lens prescription that she has prescribed. Her staff members are super polite and responsive. I haven't had any issues and I really like the precautions that Dr. Kolia and her staff are taking for COVID.

I have to update that the wait time can be quick or terribly long. They left me in a room once for…read morean hour by myself! I've also had complications since my surgery which had me doubting if Manríque's was to blame or myself. I didn't like that they kept asking what I was doing to get abrasions in my eyes and I didn't have an answer because I waking up with the abrasions. They've been very good to me and continued to care for me through these complications but I did miss a lot of days at work due to returning for follow ups.

Seriously...Texas State Optical deserves it…read more From the moment you call to make an appt, to when you walk in the door and are greeted by the staff...to when you finally put on that new pair of glasses you've been waiting for! TSO offers the best customer service experience possible and you get great glasses to boot. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by the staff and they checked me in. I only waited about 5 min before getting my eyes checked. Throughout the entire time, the young lady helping me was amazing. Extremely courteous... professional...and every other word that relates to customer service exemplified. I took in my old glasses so they already had an idea of my prescription. The doctor took me to the back for the eye exam and about 10 min later I was walking out. The staff then showed me which lenses I could pick from based off my insurance. After choosing the ones I liked, they said they should be ready in about 1 week. Well to my nice surprise they were ready for pickup the next day! When I went to pick them up they gave me the case with a spray and small towel to clean them with in a small bag with my name hand written on it. The devil is in the details but those little details win over customers. This feels like a fairly new optical... slightly small...but with it's amazing staff, great doctor, and top-of-the line customer service, it feels and is the best place to get your glasses.
