Even taking into account the cost of travel, it would cost me about half to get the work done in Cancun instead of Montreal. So I made my travel arrangements, and became a dental tourist. I arrived at the Cancun airport at about 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon. By 6:00, I was in the dentist's chair, beginning my treatment. I had a six-unit bridge in the front and a 3-unit bridge on the side, as well as a filling and a cleaning. The people at Dentalia were terrific, and very friendly and efficient. The final result is beautiful, and the whole thing was done by Thursday evening. I can't say enough nice things about Dentalia and their Cancun staff. They are very well set up to handle dental tourism from the U.S. or Canada. Saving thousands of dollars, and getting a trip to Cancun to boot - what could be better? They also have an office in Playa del Carmen, and other offices throughout Mexico.
