While it is not a big church with light shows, and a hipster pastor, it is a real body of local believers trying to figure out a way to live out their faith. The people are warm and friendly, not in a forced way, but a genuine loving bunch of people, being given that example by pastor Kevin. After getting…read moreto know the core values of the church, which we felt were inline with biblical principals, we decided to commit further and we both served on the technical team (lights, sound, projection) for Sunday morning worship. We both now help with the Youth ministry. Jeffery, the lead pastor, for the South Hill Campus (there are also locations in South Kitsap, Silverdale, Sumner and a Spanish Language Service in Puyallup), brings the word in a fresh, easy to connect with way that feels really applicable to the constantly changing and fast paced times we live in. We love the church's vision, to present hope and develop people. I have seen first hand the positive impact the church has had on my family and in my community. This is not the only church in Puyallup, it certainly isn't the perfect church (because real people go here) but it has proved to be the perfect place for my family and I to worship, grow, and serve. I have attended this church in Graham for 12 years and been a part of the organization for about 25. I have seen years of positive development and growth of the church! The leadership is AMAZING. They are so welcoming, knowledgeable and loving. They sacrifice their lives for their congregation. The congregation is a blessing! Before I gave my life to Jesus, just being around the people in the church, I could feel and see the joy and love oozing from them and I knew I wanted it! The children's church program is full and the teachers are fun and dedicated. The youth program is blossoming and it is truly what helped lead me to Christ. I love the music program and the opportunities to serve the church.
