I love this store. I only brought a few colored pencils to Valencia, but I did a lot of sketching…read more I showed the clerk the photos I took, pointing out the colored pencils I would need. She was patient (with my poor Spanish) and very helpful. The store was busy, so it is a popular place. I got what I need. The store is small, by US standards, but it has a good selection of oil paints, watercolors, paper, books, brushes, pens, and other supplies you need to do you art. I highly recommend it.

I heard a little about this place, particularly that they had pretty authentic Valencian pottery…read more So we had to stop by to check it out. After days of walking around and shopping and seeing lots of pottery at more touristy shops we too thought that this place had more authentic wares. They also had a nice range of options from large serving bowls to mugs, plates, tiles, and more. The designs even had a wide range from the more traditional teal and black or burnt orange and black to the basic blue designs to the more colorful modern designs. Everything was priced fairly as well which made it easy to buy way more than I needed! The owner packaged them carefully so that they would not break while traveling. My only gripe is that we decided a day later that we wanted to buy a few more pieces, because why not? When we headed back they were closed. after looking it up we realized that they would be closed for the entire next day as well which was unfortunate for us as we were leaving early the following morning. So my advice is, CHECK THE STORE HOURS IN ADVANCE!

Everything is very reasonably priced and Yuste was nothing but wonderful every time I'd bring visiting friends and family. He also sells some incredible artwork and pieces dating back to the 1700s, so you can leave with a real piece of Valencian history. He is happy to tell you all about the piece. Last time I was there, it was cash only

We ended up buying two Faber Castell pens. When I went back home and did a price comparison with U.S. rates, I found that we had gotten the pens at a steal. The pens at the store were priced cheaper! So glad I stopped by!

I didn't notice any cool, unique Spanish brands though, which was disappointing. Lots of washi tape, stamping supplies, and TONS of papers in the 12x12 size. Hardly any stickers though, which was why I didn't purchase. Great hours though...open during siesta! :)
