There's a long list of services they provide from traditional massages to manicures, with a choice of a room with a fan or air conditioning for an additional fee. We both got the combination massage for 60 minutes in the air conditioning room, which is on the upper floor of the building. I believe it's worth the additional 100ph to get a room with AC since the place is so humid. And of course, everyone thinks so too because the AC room was much more busier than the fan room downstairs. Massage was very good. I let them know that I didn't want anything with too much pressure because my shoulder was still sore from a previous massage I had earlier on our trip; so when my masseuse started on my shoulder, she checked in with me to ask if the pressure was okay. I appreciated that. It was a relaxing massage, with a combination of Swedish, Thai and Hilot techniques. The only minor issue is that the room was too loud for a massage, with many of the employees talking to one another and from the noise outside since the window was open. You can't completely relax with all that noise while you're getting a massage, but hey, it's way more affordable than getting a massage in the U.S., so I'll take it. The back massage was great focusing on my neck and shoulders where I hurt the most. After that I was lead down stairs to have the leg and foot massage. It was so relaxing I tried to not fall asleep. SUCH A WONDERFUL RESORT…read more Aside from the obvious beauty of the island, this resort really shines in several areas: service & food We stayed in one of the private villas with a main house and guest house. Our private pool overlooked the ocean and was the perfect touch for the week. Facilities were decent. It's hard to critique knowing how the area "is", but bug spray is a must and definitely make sure you don't leave food in your room overnight. The food was out of this world. Fresh, authentic and served in a timely manner. Drinks were great too but ask for doubles ;) Now the best part of this resort is the staff. They were not only going above and beyond in needs anticipation, but were genuinely friendly and kind. No ask was too little and they truly made our time at Cauayan special. If you like exercise, highly recommend the sunrise/sunset hikes. Don't skip out on breakfasts. Sunset booze cruise was wonderful as well. Thank you guys for an unforgettable week!

We had a lovely time at Cauayan Resort in El Nido. The resort is on its own beautiful little…read moreisland. There are many activities to choose from (weather permitting), including island hopping, scuba diving, yoga, massages, trekking, and sunset cruises. We happened to be there at the end of a spell of windy weather, so the activities were dependent on the Coast Guard's boating guidelines. We did get to do a day and a half of island hopping and a session of scuba. Keep in mind that at this resort, the activities have to be coordinated from within the resort services, and prices are more expensive. The scuba diving was cool because we got to see a sea turtle! There are some sea turtles that nest on the island, and you can see them swim in the waves from the beach. The resort has restaurant services including breakfast buffet, dining room lunch and dinner, and bar snacks. We found that all of the food was amazing. We didn't have one bad meal! Favorites included the cauliflower soup, seafood kare kare, nachos, and laksa. The drinks were also very good. We chose the unlimited package, so we tried a lot of the cocktails. I really liked the Bramble and the Pina Coladas. The spa is very special because you can get a relaxing massage AND watch fish and reef sharks through a glass window on the floor of the spa. So cool! The staff here was friendly and very polite. They cater to a very upscale, luxurious resort experience. We enjoyed being here for our honeymoon.

So since I was there for eight days I was able to try more than one place and this place stood out head and soul shoulders above the rest The linens were clean the cushions were thick so your chest didn't hurt. Unfortunately before I left I was not able to get my massage therapist name but you will not be able to miss her her hair is short she is stocky but she gives a very deep massage but takes time to rub out the muscles so the toxins move throughout your body so you're not sore the next day and she is always in an excellent mood.
