This location is super busy!!!! We used the waitlist feature on yelp and still had a 45 minute wait when we arrived. Ended up sitting in the bar to avoid the wait. Not sure what the point of the waitlist is... Ordered the deep dish pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese. This perfection takes time to cook, so be ready for a wait! Totally worth it though!!! We go at least once a week for a pizza, they kids love it. Always consistent with the ingredients and they are picky!!! We got ​​a chance to meet the kitchen manager Aaron on one of our visits a while back and now when we see him he always remembers us and the kids names. Meatball sandwich is to die for. Every one in our party thought the food was excellent.

It's my first time coming to this location and boy, the ordering and pick up to go is a hot mess. It's at the entrance which is already busy and there is not much of a formed line. I wish they would announce which orders are ready on a speaker so not everyone is waiting in line to just check their order status..i went to pick up and it took me 15+ minutes of standing there waiting to check my order! By the time I got mine, the pizza was just warm. You need patience when ordering..it seems busier than dine in. Enough on the rant..now onto the food: -caesar salad: solid. Crisp romaine, shaved and grated parmesan cheese and the perfect dressing coated each bite. I normally don't eat croutons but found myself enjoying those as well. They had a light taste of olive oil and were baked perfectly. -italian meatball soup: woohoo I got mini meatballs and one giant one! Very tasty and not overly salty. It was a little thicker than expected though and I didn't care for the pizza crust bowl it was served in. The dough tasted bland and was baked. I think maybe a brush of olive oil with italian seasoning may have added a bit more flavor. The crisp flatbread with cheese was a nice accompiment though. -thin crust pizza: not my fave pizza ever but it's better than the typical chain like bjs. It is very thin crust and is crispy unless you wait too long to eat it..the toppings are generous and weigh down the pie. I wish the pie had cheese then toppings but they seem to place toppings first. Overall, I'd return. I had Oreganos at a diff location and it was just as enjoyable, if not more. Only thing I'd like changed is the horrid wait to order or get your take out at the front. They need more staff there to answer phones and operate the register, one to take orders and one to retrieve orders to stream line the process. read more

Glad we have and Oregano's in the Far East Valley. Got the zucchini as an appetizer a few beers and a large thin crust pizza. Server was nice and the food was great. Beer was cold. Very slow though. We were there 1.5 hours. If you have somebody to have to be after you eat you might not want to go here. Still gets a 5 star from me though. read more

The wait was ridiculous because we showed up in person were told 15 to 20 minute wait. 30 minutes later they started seating people that showed up 10 minutes after us. I went to ask why are others being sat before us I'm told they were on yelp so they get priority. We go here quit often and this was the slowest service we had ever had. Not only did we wait 40 minutes to be seated but it took over an hour to eat. I don't like having to share such a bad experience but I'm just sad to see this happening at a reduced capacity. I'm visiting family for the week and they really like this place so I decided to try it out. I'm glad I did. I got the el Dublin chicken pasta I believe it was called. It was delicious, I love hot and spicy and this had both. The sauce was creamy and the chicken was perfect. Highly recommend! read more

They did a great job with the pick up but we just ordered $30 for the family meal and we ordered the Picasso salad and two pastas. The pastas had no meat( which was clear) but pretty much no sauce and our salad which does come with chicken had no chicken. So pottery much $30 for noodles and lettuce. The hostesses got a bit confused and didn't communicate well with each other when we got there. They got our seating messed up and we had to wait a bit after they told us we'd be called. That was THE MOST chaotic and disorganized take out process thus far in the current Covid19 time. Offer curbside Oregano's!!!!!! Cars coming every direction, people NOT observing social distancing and Oregano's not having any markings on where to stand (which shouldn't have to happen with grown ups but obviously people need it). Mixed reviews on food here. Love the Pizza but the entrees are not consistent. Need more sauce and taste. We go to the one on superstition springs and Power and we enjoy the staff but more consistency from the kitchen is needed. I really wanted to like this place because it'd been recommended and I really feel bad writing non-great reviews, but we were very disappointed in the food. We had pizza and some chicken alfredo with some shrimp and an attempt at Bruschetta. The shrimp tasted like it'd been sitting in salt water for quite a while. The Brushetta was on very thick bread with soft, mushy chopped tomatoes, which seemed like they'd seen better days or had come out of a can. The Pizzas were just so-so unfortunately. Pretty much everything was bad. As I was eating, I noticed that even the utensils were very cheap. Not to be too picky and I don't expect Sterling silverware, but it was absolutely the lowest quality, chintziest silverware I've ever had in a restaurant. You could most likely find better forks at Goodwill compared to what they had at Oregonos. The front staff were very friendly and our server was super-fantantically amazing. She was nice, always there when we needed her, and proficient. Even the dudes who brought out food out were helpful and immediately brought us out more plates because we were a little sloppy. Everything was really clean inside. Our quest for really good restaurant food in Mesa continues. We had really high hopes for this place but I guess eating in Seattle and some restaurants in Scottsdale has spoiled us. We ordered DoorDash from this location and the driver forgot our pizza. I called Oreganos and they were very quick and courteous. They let me know the pizza was left there but they would make us a new pizza right away and have it delivered. Once we got all our food everything was amazing! The smaller size of the Caesar salad was still huge and plenty for my husband and I. The thin crust pepperoni pizza was so good and the garlic bread was amazing. Today made an order from the app. I get an email confirmation saying order will be ready at 11:15. Then I get an email soon before the order is supposed to be ready that there was a problem communicating the order with the location but they sent it through a backup channel and to call the location to see if the order went through. After being placed on hold twice and then being transferred to a manager they say no order. No apology or anything else. Plus the rewards I earn in the app expire very quickly. I maybe try a different location but I'm very disappointed with the service. read more

First off let me tell you about the take out girls. Madison is my favorite. I hate pickles , with a passion! I will not even eat something if it shares a plate with a pickle. I love oreganos but a majority of the time they kept putting the pickle on the side of my big chicken parm. I would ask 5 or 6 times no pickle and they just keep doing. So I fell out of love with oregnos as a brand. When this location open up by my house , I decided to give it a second chance! I am happy I did. Those girls never ever put pickles in. They always make sure it's not there. One time a new girl did and Madison had them remake the sandwich and gave me a discount on it for the extra wait. Now I got at least 5 or 6 times a month. To the point they know my voice and memorized my order. If your looking for a place to eat at that cares about you as a person and your pickiness. This is the place. I went here last night. I used to love this place. Lately I've not been very impressed. The last 2 times my pizza was burnt on the edges. Last night I called to order pizza at 6. They said it'd be ready in 30 minutes. I got there and it still wasn't ready. I came back out to my truck because she said she'd bring it out when it was ready. Almost 30 more minutes went by and I went back in to find out it was fine and they never said anything.
