To celebrate my graduating from Harvard University, I picked this place to celebrate with my foodie friend, because I had no idea that it was in this location and because, I'm a huge pasta/Italian food foodie, along with my foodie friend. The youthful lady at the front was welcoming and very nice! She should be signed for a modeling gig because she literally looked the part! I told her this as well. Props given (RESPECTFULLY ) My friend left his wallet and upon returning to get it, he mentioned that all of his loot was missing from the wallet, but the wallet was later recovered wiith his cc, so thats good! I recommended to my friend, to contact management and have them to run the cameras to see if they noticed anything. Not accusing anyone of anything but, perhaps whomever found it, let the loot fall out of it! I'm sure that lots of humans leave wallets and ccs behind, because another customer returned about 10 moments after leaving, to retrieve his credit card that our waitress handed to him in .2 seconds. Food is good! I enjoyed a huge plate of pasta which gave me enough for 3 servings in which, I enjoyed, each time I ate it! I was an American Greed in an Italian restaurant (Not to be confused with the show which is one of my fav) The Ambience: The atmosphere is freezing!!! If it weren't raining outside we would've had our meals out on the patio but between raining outside , and hexxa cold inside, it was quit uncomfortable. If it were 120° outside, the cooler air would've been warranted. There's plenty of parking onsite! I'd return here, now that I know that it's in this location. They have a nice patio! There's plenty of parking onsite!

We had an excellent meal here. Good food, prompt and good service... and their salads are vegetarian approved! Nice job!

Oregano should be one of your go to places if you want some great Italian food. The ambience is very quaint. Play some old music have some really really cute decorations. The menu is very versatile. For starters you have your choice of many delicious cocktails to choose from and even mocktails. You can get pretty much anything you want from delicious pasta deep dish, pizza, and even salad, but I must recommend that you save room for dessert because the Pazooki is incredible. Well, the servers are super friendly and never hesitate to give great recommendations. If you want a great place to take the family or have a fun girls night this is the place to go.

Really liked it! Took a couple of buddies for lunch here, and everything was excellent. We got seated right away and our server had us some water soon after. We started with some Iced Teas and the Bistro Calamari - and it was the best calamari I've ever had; nice meaty pieces with some flavorful garlic breading. For lunch we had the Chicago Italian sausage & sweet potato fries. The sausage had a "bite" to it, but not so much you can't handle it. The sweet potato fries came with a nice pepper aioli that was delicious together. We also had a couple of the Big Beef Sandwiches and they were amazing. I finished mine, but they are big enough to easily split if you have smaller appetites. Our server was consistently following up with us and was bringing us tea refills without even asking. The service and food here was excellent and I'm definitely going back.

We always go in the between hours to Oregano's. They do a good business. The food and portions connect well with the price. I will say it is not the best Italian food however it keeps us coming back so maybe I need to check my standards. Wings here are big and we never have had a complaint with receiving a runt. Other places we go for wings have been hit or miss. Of course the price for these puppies are higher. You get some big wings. We've tried everything on the menu and haven't been disappointed. We are sad they took away the deep dish but it was an automatic 40 min wait. Get that pizza wrong and it's another 40 mins. I can see why they dropped it from their menu. Off happy hour Beer prices are reasonable.

Family was in the mood for pasta so we visited oreganos and overall, it was pretty good. The food came out hot and fresh, which was great, but the flavors were just okay...not the best I've had. The biggest downside was the wait for drink refills, which took longer than expected and then food coming out at different times (5 min apart). That said, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I'd consider going back, but there's room for improvement.

This place is amazing! All around great. The pasta was so delicious and was exactly what I was craving. The garlic bread was crunchy and perfectly baked. The service was also amazing we felt welcomed once we came inside. Will be back soon!

Burnt Pan Pizza

I live walking distance from here and I use to LOVE it. Favorite is the pan pizza. The last few times I have ordered the quality/experience is just not consistent. I always do an online order and when I come pick it up it's never ready when it should be. I understand things happen but every time? I'm usually waiting 10-15 mins past the pickup time. Sometimes they offer me a drink which is nice and I appreciate that. Today I decided to place the order 5 mins before it opened and waited an additional 10 mins after the pickup time. It wasn't ready lol. The worker was great and said it would just be a few more minutes. When I got home and opened it , the pizza was burnt. The crust, underneath..all burnt. Disappointed in the quality. Gotta find a new spot for good pizza.

Heckava Slice

Love the vibe of this place, nostalgic decor and big band / rat pat tunes playing. Tried the Heckava Slice from the Lunch Rush Menu, M-F 11-3. It's a huge slice of Chicago thin crust for only $5, $1 s topping. I added the in house made meatballs as my topping. Pizza was crispy and delicious! We had always gone to Oregano's for the Chicago Style Pan pizza, dare I say I might just prefer the thin crust pizza. Jessica was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Look forward to returning!

Italian Sub.

Why three stars. Some things are very good. Others are just ok or a pass. The lasagna is one of the very good. The Italian sub. Very good. Pizza can be hit or miss. Not my first choice. Atmosphere is casual. Service is usually pretty good.

Ask the Community - Oregano's

I know the name says Oregano's, but is the flavor of all their food overwhelmingly "oregano"? We hadn't been to an Oreganos in several years and went this past Saturday night, and the deep dish pizza we received was extra heavily seasoned.

Not in my experience. I have been to all locations except Tucson. I have never found the food to be overly seasoned with Oregano. I would advise that regardless of what restaurant you visit, if you don't like the food you order, ask them to remake… Read more

There is a parking lot and indoor/outdoor seating. I love the decor and ambiance of this place, especially the lighting in the dining room. They have a separate area with a small shop and cafe with desserts and some grab and go items. I will be back to try a coffee! My friend and I came here for the pre-set restaurant week menu. I made a reservation the night before, but it wasn't too busy while we were there on a Tuesday at 530pm. Our server Allison was great and very attentive. For appetizers we tried the whipped goat cheese spread and wagyu meatballs. I thought the goat cheese spread was delicious! For entrees we choose the pasta pomodoro and the farmers market pizza which were both very tasty. The pizza had so much flavor l, especially the crust, and the texture of the pasta was perfect!! For dessert we tried the affogato and apricot cheesecake. Oh My Gosh that cheesecake was the BEST dessert I've had in a while!!!! You have to try it and I can't recommend it enough!!!! When I arrived and spoke with spouse he had already been waiting 20+ minutes. When I checked in with hostess to see if there had been any changes I was promptly schooled that "he was told "XYZ" and there's one table ahead of us still... I disregarded that vibe, figured because it was "busy" or because it was "Saturday evening" and everywhere is busy... I felt the senior hostess was curt when I inquired about the status of our wait, so I tried to brush it off. Just inefficient all the way around. From seating and neglecting to ask about seating preference (could there have been a shorter wait?), initial greeting by server, or was it a bus boy?, beverage order and wait for food. Couldn't even get a full glass of water poured or full carafe brought to the table while we waited for service. It was all very disappointing and I feel completely led astray by the ratings and reviews. I truly can not believe we waited 1 1/2 hrs just to be seated so we could eat pizza. Oh, but wait! It's pizza on 130 year old sourdough yeast?! Whatever. The pizza was alright, but the entire experience certainly didn't improve the taste of the pizza. Tourist trap? Maybe. Trendy? Because it's located in downtown Chandler? And then there's the parking scenario. If you're staying at the San Marcos or the other hotel downtown, walking here will be quicker than trying to find a parking spot. Carpool would be my other suggestion because parking really is a premium. And I want to add, the hostess never came to let us know a table was ready. We were only offered a table when my son went in to check the status. Only then did he get asked if we would be open to outdoor seating. Maybe Brunch has something more to offer. IDK. But I'm certainly not inclined to recommend or dine here again.

The dining area was clean and well maintained, with spotless tables and restrooms, which always makes a great first impression. We ordered two chicken shawarma plates: one with fries and hummus, and the other with salad and rice. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, the fries were crisp and well-spiced, and the hummus was smooth and delicious. We also tried the C1 combo Arabic style, which came with half chicken, half beef, and two sides. Both proteins were excellent, and the garlic sauce was a standout--we absolutely loved it. We couldn't help but notice many other customers enjoying salads, all of which looked fresh and generously topped with crisp vegetables. Portion sizes across the board were very good, leaving us satisfied with some to go. Overall, the food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. Everything looked soooo appetizing on the menu and since I was going to meal prep this week, the Al Sham Chicken Combo caught my eye. The kofta was great as well but would definitely come back more for their shawarmas but it's definitely the best bang for your buck I also got some baba ganoush on the side to dip my fries in but unfortunately, I thought the baba ganoush was too lemony/there was too much sumac added so it wasn't as enjoyable. Most baba ganoush I've tasted in my hometown also had a smokey flavor to it from the eggplant so it really couldn't compare.

But you will be coming regularly once you try this place. Mediterranean food has worked it's way as a staple across the country because of the use of numerous spices, it has an undeniable bold flavor that has become a favorite of the American diet. Here is no exception and lives up to the Mediterranean flavor profile expectations with an Americanized twist on the ingredients. I ordered on the app and found it quite user friendly, which encourages me to get food here more often with the ease of use and simple interface. You have to ability to add or omit ingredients from the menu items which makes for a very satisfying customized meal (and only have yourself to blame if it is a displeasing combination) BERLINER WRAP- meat and veg all in a flatbread wrap. There's a lot of ingredients packed in this thang, so for me, I had to use extra sauce to dip and coat it all in flavor. The problem with these wraps though, is that the paper it wrapped in was getting stuck to the bread and would have to constantly peel it off that thang and it was a mess, unless you just don't mind eating the paper for some extra fiber. MEDI BOWL- The bowl was felt healthy and hearty; an all-around good dish. The crunchy garbanzo beans were a nice element to contrast against the other textures in the bowl. Again, i liked it with more sauce, but that's just me. Everything tasted fresh and delicious and I want to try the other menu items in the future.
