Ok it isn't cheap, but once put some of the soft cotton on, you will feeel the difference with cheap. I personally raised up my kids with Petit Bateau underwear inherited from my cousins, the older they are, the softer they get. But even worn out by 4-5 different kids from the same family, the t-shirt simply look perfect. Nowadays my adult kids still wear size 18. The brand extended to size 20 (in age) for bigger girls. Try it once, you'll see. It is also the traditional gift to new born in France.
