And when I say decades, I really mean decades. There is not a single place on the planet where I have eaten more often. So if you ever pass this place - do not eat there, it's highly addictive. Problems were too many to mention and solutions never came, except to my own cost and expenses. My employer hired them for my removal from Germany to Cyprus, based on price. What a mistake! The first surprise was when the packing of my household goods was on the second day, they sent the bill and it was more than quoted and agreed. Much stress followed to understand what was happening: their price quote allegedly did NOT include VAT (although they were expressly requested to do so by my employer). I ended up paying for this (19% of the total price) out of my own pocket. By the way, they BLACKMAILED me to pay it or else they wouldn't deliver my goods to my new home. The second surprise was upon receiving my goods in Cyprus. Although the service was "door to door", they wanted to charge me extra for the alleged need of "shuttle transfer" because supposedly my new home was a hard place to reach with a container. Only that it was not: it was centrally located, in a calm but wide one-way street on the Embassies Quarter, where a former colleague had already lived and had her relocation (in and out) done with the exact same kind of container without any problems. The only way I could avoid those extra charges was to take matters into my own hands and directly negotiate with the community I moved into, in order to block the visitor's parking so they could deliver my goods. No help whatsoever from Froesch or the local consignee, who were only interested in charging me extra. The third and final surprise was that a few items went missing. Ok, this could happen, which is why I privately paid 2.5% premium insurance in order to secure all my goods, right? Not quite: the insurance company Mobilitas, which is associated with Froesch, offered to pay only 50% of the value of the goods that I insured. I accepted only because I was so sick and tired of this horrible move, and then they took MONTHS to actually pay me half of what I was owed. Having had many international moves in my life, this was by far the worst. Froesch was unhelpful, unfriendly and all they wanted to do was charge me more, more and more. My main contact in Froesch was Mr Antoine Duquesnay and in Mobilitas, Ms Sandra Wehrhell. I do NOT recommend this company, not even to my worst enemy!
