I was greeted immediately upon entering the salon and sat down in a comfy chair to wait as I had arrived early. Lydia was very warm and welcoming and I put my trust in her to make decisions on a cut that best suits my face shape while preserving the length of my hair. My favorite part of the experience is the head massage during the hair wash session which happens in a room behind the main salon area. The room has warm yellow lighting that's relaxing, really comfortable chairs and a huge pillow to prop up your feet. Lydia also curled my hair at the end of the appointment and I felt pretty for the rest of the day . Highly recommend this salon and Lydia for your stylist!

Extremely disappointed in the level of customer service and services provide by Neri! This salon is…read moreextremely over priced and the level of service provided is mediocre. Came in after Covid quarantine, for a platinum blonde growth and extension consult. I was charged $600 and walked out with a yellow band around my head. The stylist I saw didn't allow the bleach to process the first time, when she washed out my hair.I was left with a orange band. She then proceeded to add a second round of bleach. When I left the salon she parted my hair, where the yellow band was not noticeable. The following day I noticed the yellow band called the salon. I'm normally in the salon for 3 hours, as I a have been a platinum blonde for a couple years now, I was there for 4 for her mistake. I was scheduled for my extensions placement the following week and ask if I could come in and get them both done. Came in for the extension installation with the same stylist. Showed her the yellow band and she immediately got all defense, like I screwed up her hair. Her customer service just thrown out the window that I had to speak to the owner. I was then explain why I was charged 600, 150 by the hour. Because of the product and time it took. So not only was I charged for her mistake, they charged me for the extra time as well, ridiculous. Decided to give Neri another try despite our fall out to place my hair extensions. Horrible mistake! She has no experience, the foundation of my extensions fell a part in about 3 weeks expand. I had to come back for her to redo 2 out of 3 rows. I noticed that the top weft was cut short, didn't even make it to the last bead! When I was 7 weeks out I experienced, breakage off the 3 row. Talked to the owner and she had the audacity to tell me maybe my hair was to fine for this type of extensions after the fact I spent 1000 for the hair and placement. Like isn't this what the Consultation is for?? I also couldn't wear my hair straight, without you knowing I had extensions on. This place lacks experience in extensions, as they just got certified a year ago, then the pandemic happen = zero hands on experience!

I was told to pic a color, but, I have to be honest here, there was really no choice to make for me. They had very dull color choices and not very many which totally surprised me. I kept saying that nothing was interesting to me. Anyhow, finally decided (all the while being not happy with color). Might I add that this was the most expensive pedicure that I ever paid for and I have traveled all over the world. It was so basic, they don't even trim up the cuticles around the nail, they do nothing to the areas around the nails. NEVER had that happen before. They look horrible to me. She had to keep polishing one of the nails, or should I say half of my nail, over and over to try and get it right. (never did) Just a VERY TERRIBLE experience. Lesson learned. Will Never Go There Again. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

I wasn't in search of a new hairstylist, as I love the one that I have gone to in the past…read more However, my go-to hairstylist is located in Wburg, so it takes a lot more coordination to make the trek to the other side of the water. My hair was so long and I was beyond annoyed with the length and definitely was in search of a new haircut. I asked my sister-in-law who she and my niece went to, and she referred me to Kayla at Sleek Salon & Spa. I submitted my inquiry on their website that night and that's where all the magic began. The inquiry was late, but I got a call from the salon mid-morning the very next day. The person who called me was so nice and answered my preliminary questions. It turned out that Kayla had availability that same day, so I jumped at the chance. - Kayla - My sister-in-law raved about her, so I was expecting no less. Kayla was super friendly when we met and asked what I had in mind. I also asked her the same out of curiosity lol... "as a hairstylist, what are you dying to do to my hair right now?" We came to an agreement (I wasn't feeling drastic this go around), but she did want to bring my hair back to a more healthy look. What I got: a haircut. She actually cut it twice, because the first time, she cut a few inches off, but I was being a little more daring and decided to cut another few inches off. I had so much hair! Due to my Asian heritage and the way Asian hair tends to behave, she suggested and asked that she reverse the process and cut my hair while it was dry, then wash and them blow dry. That was a great suggestion, because there weren't any surprises and it shows that she knows what she is doing! Result: The proof is in the pictures. I'll leave it at that. I must have lost a good 2 lbs just from the cut. It. feels. so. good. I ended up getting the leave-in conditioner that she used on my hair which was $47. A little steep, but it'll probably last me awhile. Things to note: - AVEDA products for sale only, unless AVEDA does not make a certain product. They have a mix of CBD products. - They are open late for working customers which I thought was very nice. I got an appointment at 7pm. - Stylist price varies according to education and experience. Kayla's haircut starts at $60 depending on texture and length, but my hair is in the middle, not thin and not that thick. I was charged $60, which I was so happy about because have you called around for haircuts these days? Kayla can take my money! - you can get $25 credit for referring new customers! The salon was pretty spacious too, and clean. Just a nice vibe. They don't play super loud music and play the chill vibe tunes, staying true to the word "spa" in their name. It's right next to Momo's Kitchen. They seem to cater to all ages too, because there were kids next to me getting their hair done also. Highly recommend, and enjoy, Friends, and never stop exploring!

I very specifically said wash and cut for all of us. My daughters were done first and as they were being done I was called. The owner... was my stylist. I felt like I was a comedy roast when I left! She made fun of the length of my hair, the amount of time between cuts, the color or lack of, the amount of gray, the volume of my hair, how my hair wasn't thick like my daughters, she couldn't grasp that I didn't have my glasses on to see, she got upset that I didn't like the smell of the products being put in my hair, so she used less then her taste of products and made that very clear, she was annoyed that I wanted my hair blown dry. I have curly hair. I do not go to a "salon" to walk out with curly hair. She should know she has curly hair so she said. They didn't wash my daughters hair at all. We weren't local enough for her. We hadn't lived here long enough... 11 years..but ok. I'm not sure the owner knew that she was treating me so disrespectfully. Making fun of me. I don't think she cared. I don't think her staff knew that we were all there for a wash and cut. The prices are great! Cheap. You get what you pay for though.
