This is kind of a tricky review to write; I am reviewing the training services they offer, not the…read moretechnical or importing services they offer at this campus. I took a week-long technical class on the Shimadzu 'Evolution DaRt' portable x-ray machine here. The instructor, Luis, was professional, precise and patient. The group I was attending with had a varied range of experience on this machine, and in the Diagnostic Imaging field. The information was well put together and well presented- I really liked the section on the signal and power paths through the systems, the Digital Radiography and the troubleshooting sections (where we debugged 4 problems in under 2 hrs). I did have some issues with the missing steps in the books and training material, it would be very hard to work on these if you didn't have the class and went straight from the tech manuals. There were a few times that we had to get clued into on some of the digital settings and help setting up the HIS/RIS and archive settings. The facility has been around a long time and was very worn out and not updated, remodeled or cleaned in many, many years- like 25. I had bad allergies everyday sitting through the class and so did the other students. Outside of that, everyone was nice and even shared one of the employees birthday cake one of the days.

Although she has relocated, we have been able to continue sessions through Skype that are still equally effective. Chloe was always responsive and really pushed for the evaluation to be reviewed in its entirety. During my son's IEP meeting, Chloe stood-up for my son in a way that brought tears to my eyes. It is rare to find people who are as dedicated to their profession, but that also genuinely care about the population that they serve. Because of her dedication and support during the IEP process, I decided to have my son attend speech therapy with Language and Literacy Group--even though we live far away, and our insurance does not cover these services. In the 3.5 months that my son has been attending therapy with Chloe and Molly, he has made noticeable progress in the way he expresses himself and his desire to communicate more with peers and his family. I will forever be grateful for their support and for being a part of my son's development and growth.
