After watching the television commercials for Optimal Health with Dr Ole Olson, I attended a sponsored dining seminar that focused on peripheral neuropathy. Upon attending the initial office consultation on 5/25/23 (booked at the seminar) the following were my personal observations: First of all, please don't advise prospective clients that there is an eight minute turn-around time for appointments (the seminar already made your office representative come across as an ambulance chaser). Second, the female that did the sensitivity testing appeared to have back issues, this did not go over well with me when the facility specializes in chiropractic services. Third the audio was not working on the video presentation, which was stressing the previously mentioned female (as if the delays were eating into her time with the client. The video in question was previously viewed at the seminar I attended). Upon checkout, the representative that was accepting my (seminar) payment & booking the next follow-up appointment seemed agitated when I would NOT accept an appointment for the next day & upon checking my work schedule the next available time that I could be seen was Monday June 5th. There must be an inforced office policy to get the clients booked ASAP after the initial consult, otherwise they are more likely to cancel. In addition, the check-out clerk made it very clear that her job was not providing medical advise, regarding if the services they provided would or would not be accepted by insurance (understandable since each client's billed diagnosis will vary). And finally, there was another client that was checking out and complained that his treatments were denied by his insurance as not medically necessary, that he had already spent 2k in out-of-pocket expenses with this office, and was being presented with a packaged drinkable powder mix to purchase that he was hesitant to buy. I have been dealing with peripheral neuropathy since 1997 (26 years), I doubt very much that Optimal Health can do anything more, that any of the other medical treatments that I have already received. Therefore, I have cancelled my 6/5/23 follow-up appointment, which would have most likely be denied by my insurance for medical necessity. I would NOT "openly" recommend Optimal Health, for neuropathy issues, to any of my friends or family. read more

I've been seen 3x/wk since August to begin correcting the awfulness of what 6 years competitive sports, 7 years in a factory, and 13 years in the military has done to my spine. After 24 visits and daily home exercises, the 2nd set of x-rays revealed positive movements! I was incredibly excited to see the difference and even more thrilled to consistently feel better and have more flexibility when stretching. I lift weights and do kettle bell workouts; my form has continuously improved and my recovery time has decreased. This office also offers nutrition classes, meet and greet dinners, workout classes fit for everyone, and the necessary equipment for home exercises. Dr. Ole is genuinely concerned for everyone's health; he works with individuals to ensure affordable costs, and offers discounts for additional family members. Even if your spine isn't as messed up as mine was, a few visits a month might be the difference between daily headaches and no headaches. Or, painful wake-ups and jumping out of bed feeling refreshed! Maybe even less OTC pain meds for that annoying lower back pain throughout the day! Until I came here I never realized how important your spine is to your over all health. I started coming here becuase of lower back, hip, and sciatic nerve pain. In just a few weeks not only did I notice relief from my pain, but increased energy, better sleep at nights and just a happier outlook on life. Came in due to pain after a car accident. Took X-Rays, which was great, but then did not adjust me until the next day despite my discomfort. Came in the next day. He was more worried about other chronic issues rather than addressing the acute pain I was experiencing. I have no doubt that I have other issues, but I wanted my left lower back adjusted where I was feeling pain. He refused to adjust that side and focused on other issues which he said could take a "long time". Had me stand on a vibrating plate after adjustments covered in weights. The purpose was not explained to me. Was dismissive of my concerns. Did not get consent or walk through what was going on. Just shuffled me around the office to different "stations". Felt like treatment was not individualized or client-centered. He had an agenda of what he was going to focus on with little input from myself or purpose of going there. Felt like he was trying to sell me a package deal. Went to another chiropractor the same day and found relief and understanding. read more
