He was not in any rush to do surgery, but instead, to try other options first. The staff are pleasant. I recommend.

I needed some care, and I had previously come to this orthopedic group previously with a…read morerecollection of a good experience. On a Thursday evening, I made an appointment for Friday morning through their website. It was really pretty easy! However, I grew concerned I hadn't had any X-rays prior to making my appointment. In any case, I called, they said no problem! Be warned, a canceled appointment less than 24 hours in advance will cost you $75. The day of my appointment, I went in and was surprised to find how hard it was to find a place to park. The parking lot is huge. I went in probably two minutes late. The wait to be seen was about 30 minutes, possibly more. Then there was the wait in the room, not too horribly lengthy. I was shuffled off to x-rays, which was quick and efficient. I figured there would be a wait for the results. My doctor, Dr. Gates, came in and introduced himself, apologized about the wait, and tried to get to know me. He was very pleasant but spoke a little fast. I'm sure it was because he's probably done this a few times. I was given my options, decided on a game plan and was on my way. Overall, everyone was super nice. I will say if you're not familiar with orthopedic doctors, it's not one size fits all. Although I have other issues, I will have to see doctors that that specialize in other joints. I feel really good about this visit, I am looking forward to following the recommendations and getting better. Fingers crossed!

Five years of five-star service deserves a new review for Peterson Chiropractic!…read more In case you want a little back story as to why and how I started to see Dr. Peterson five years ago, I recommend reading my last review. Long story short, I've been dealing with back issues for 10 years now and when I was 24 I was told I needed to have spine surgery. I decided to take matters into my own hands and be more proactive about my health instead of reactive, and that's where Peterson Chiropractic came into the picture. Since I started my therapy with them 5 years ago I've seen a huge change in my back pain and overall health. Every year they take new x-rays and we see how my spine is progressing or if it's shifting more than usual. After every assessment they prepare a plan for me and decide how many session I will need in a year. When I started I think I was coming every two weeks, but now I only need one session per month. I obviously still have some bad days where I feel pain in my neck or lower back, but I appreciate that I can always give them a call to see them sooner and get checked by the doctor. One key thing I want to mention is that Dr. Peterson uses a different method called "torque release technique". It is a very non-invasive method and there's none of that "back cracking" that people usually think when they hear the word chiropractor. If you are tired of living with back pain (like myself) and are ready to try some new methods outside of pain medication, I highly recommend making an appointment with Dr. Peterson.

After my very 1st adjustment I felt some relief and was able to get up from bed! My infant son also started coming for his torticollis in his neck, and now his neck is straight! He never cried during adjustments, proving it's not scary or painful. Everyone is so friendly and kind, and makes you feel special during every visit. My husband was also struggling from back pain and headaches from being in the military and has seen a drastic improvement since being adjusted. I am currently pregnant again and they even have a special pillow for me to lay on to get adjusted! There are informational signs all over the office about pain throughout the body and how chiropractic care can cure your pain! Even things which you would not necessarily associate with chiropractic care being able to fix, you would be surprised that it can! So if you're in any pain, or even if you're not in pain because the silent pain can be even worse, get a checkup and see what your body is really experiencing through the excellent care Peterson Chiropractic provides!
