It was quite clean when I was there and maintenence seems to be doing a good job of keeping this dinosaur alive. But the place is generally screaming for a trip into the 21st century. It's age is showing everywhere and the concrete wonderlands of the 1970ies aren't the most charming period of time for a swimming pool for the whole familiy like this one. They have 2 swimming pools: A deep one for swimming (and diving from 1m board) of 25 Meters lenght in 8 lanes and a shallow one for all kinds of activities and swim-courses. Negatives: Their squedule is a mess. They have many activities going on at the same time in two pools that I had problems figuring it all out. I mean, do we need to distinguish between 'recreative swimming' and 'swimming lanes' in a pool where you can't even stand in? Everything people do in there is swim lanes, just some faster, others more slowly. Also negative in the big pool is the lighting. There is too little light in the pool. The fact that the pool is quite deep also enhances this problem. I've rarely seen such a dimly lit basin. The benches in the changing cabins are a joke. You can't sit on that (to put on your shoes for example). I don't expect a comfy lounge-chair from a swimming-pool changing cabin - but come on! You can double the width of that plank and a normal adult still will struggle not to fall down ... Practical info: the lockers require not the usual 1€ piece but 50 Cents. Showers are mixed.
