We had the pleasure of working with Pure HD on our wedding day. The communication with Elijah was easy and painless. There was no need to coordinate too much. On a busy wedding day, the last thing a bride wants to do is be chasing vendors down. There was no problem with that at all! The picture quality turned out great and the usb drive you get at the end with all of the images is great! It seems like the open booth really fit a lot of people in it, at least 10 or more! There were awesome props as well! There were only a few things that I noticed that weren't particularly bothersome but were things that changed the review from 5 stars to 4. I noticed that the cloth background came undone or was off center so you could see the venue's wall or background in the photo. I don't know if this was due to the fact that there were a lot of people in the booth and maybe they stepped on it but I wished that maybe our attendant could have mentioned it to them. It's just an aesthetic issue for me but not a huge deal! I heard from some guests that the booth lost its email functionality early in the night so they were a bit bummed about that while some others said that the booth wasn't working at all for a portion of the night. I'm not sure what was going on but was sad to hear that some things malfunctioned. It happens though so that's okay! When the groom and I headed over, it was functioning! I wish there had been a bit more communication leading up to the big day about what our design would look like or that we had been given more options. I only got to see the design two days before the wedding which made me feel like I didn't have much say in what I liked or didn't like. The design was okay but it didn't fully capture our theme so I was a little bummed about that. I think the biggest thing that brought our review a little lower was dealing with payment. I will admit on my end that I didn't realize that we could not use credit card so I happily paid the extra fee for paypal transactions on top of what I already owed. I wished there would've been more communication about how our payment would be completed. It felt a little awkward that our attendant showed up in our bridal room where all of our close friends and family were at the end of the night asking for payment in front of everyone. After payment was completed, the attendant said something along the lines of "People will give us gratuity sometimes, would you like to do that?" I don't know if it's just me but I felt like I was put in a really awkward position. Firstly, my family and friends are watching this all go down cause they're wondering what's going on. Secondly, as the bride, I wasn't carrying wads of cash around so I felt really horrible about telling him that I didn't have the cash to give him. I felt a lot of guilt afterwards because I like to tip but I felt really awkward discussing this in front of everyone that I just kind of panicked and told our attendant I didn't have anything on me (which I didn't...I didn't even have my wallet with me at the time) but had it been a more private matter, I would've easily asked a family member for cash. Thirdly, I've never had someone ask me to tip them which I felt was slightly unprofessional, especially because we weren't speaking in private and because I feel like tip is something that the customer offers, not an option suggested by the attendant. I wasn't angry about the situation, just a little baffled and caught off guard. Then, remorseful and feeling guilty that I didn't have tip prepared on the spot. Overall though, it was still a good experience and it served its purpose at our wedding! Thanks PureHD! read more

I had pure HD for my birthday party a couple months back, and it honestly was the greatest investment that I could have ever gotten! The picture quality was great! I got the 3 hour package and it's a great deal plus I used the Yelp coupon which saved me 25$. They created a custom logo for the border that was a cute touch! Elijah and Cameron were absolutely the best. We booked PureHD about 36 hours before my dad's 75th birthday party and they bent over backwards to make it seamless and added so much to the event. They arrived early, were super conscientious, had a great sense of the right way to approach the job (and a slightly older audience) and most of all, so friendly and seemed to be enjoying themselves the whole time which always leads to the best kind of service. My dad said he never would have supported the idea of a photo booth at his party had I told him ahead of time, but he was blown away by their service and said he was so glad they were there. I decided on Sunday that I wanted to have a photo booth for an event on Wednesday. After sending an email, I received a response within a few hours from Elijah, the owner. He is extremely helpful and sent me the contracts via email and it was a done deal. He arrived at the house an hour early to set up and it was beautiful! Our photo booth was open air and Elijah gave us the option to use a very classy black and white damask background or our own staircase. The open air photo booth allows you to fit a lot more people and have more space to be funky (and breath). For one of the shots we were able to fit in 20 people! Also, Elijah was adjusting the flash and time between each photo to what we wanted which was extremely accommodating. At the end of the party, he gave me a flash drive with all of the images from the evening and the photos look stellar! I would definitely recommend Pure HD Photo Booth to everyone thinking of sprucing up their party!
