No need to make reservations - ample seating. They have a great extensive menu. We ordered a lot of different plates to try the proteins - one point off for the saltiness - felt way too salty for me. One thing I love is that I ordered a pina colada and they had extra in the blender so they'll give you the extra!

WOW. My husband and I were looking for a good lunch spot while spending the day in Cincinnati and thought we would try something different. Onolicious Hawaii was the perfect spot for that. This place is adorable and makes you feel like you are sitting right on the beach of Hawaii. There are swinging chairs, videos of surfing on the wall and a little tiki patio outside. You place your order through the QR code on the table, which made everything quick and efficient. This was also nice because they have such a large menu, so I didn't feel rushed getting to look through it all. I tried the huli huli katsu chicken with rice and potato salad, and man... it was so good! The sauce was a very sweet bbq and the chicken was so crispy. This is probably one of my favorite Hawaiian restaurants that I've been to! You gotta check it out!

10 out of 10!! Food was amazing! If you're missing a taste of aloha or have never tried it, it's a must go! It might be even better than food I ate while in Hawaii, but definitely has the Hawaiian flavor. It was like high end Hawaiian... the lumpia, char siu, Huli huli chicken and kalbi ribs were delicious! We'll def be back!!

I've been a fan of Onolicious since it was at Oakley food kitchen! Authentically delicious Hawaiian food, the best customer service and a cute spot of its own- what's not to love?!

While visiting Cincinnati on a work trip, I ordered Onolicious Hawaii through door dash to my hotel. It was super easy to place the order online. I got the Lanikai Lumpia (spring roll). They were really good! Nice and crispy with delicious vegan filling of red cabbage, carrots, green beans, onions, ginger & garlic! I dipped them in the sweet chili sauce - yum! I also got the hamburger steak plate with rice and house chips. The portion size was large. The hamburger steak was really good. I enjoyed the gravy. I also really liked the house chips - they were nice and thin. Overall, the meal was great! I'd definitely recommend it.

poco moco

Incredibly delicious Hawaiian food served in a vibrant restaurant with colorful decor and tables. (highly recommend loco moco) We got to try the poco moco. It's a beef patty covered in a mushroom gravy sauce served with a yolky egg over rice. Now I wouldn't call myself a mushroom lover but trust me if you're worried it's going to overpower the dish it won't. It's balanced perfectly in the dish but of course if you hate mushrooms then I'd recommend something else. This dish felt like eating a home cooked meal! I also got to try their mauna kea chicken which is juicy chicken covered in panko, fried to perfection. Glazed in what I would describe is like a hot honey glaze. It has a very subtle flavor, hints of that butter, slightly tangy with a bit of a kick. My favorite though is the wagyu teriyaki. Now you're probably thinking chicken teriyaki but this isn't quite like that. I'm a huge fan of japanese bbq, I'm super picky. This is amazing not overly sweet, meat is super tender, with hints of fat melting in your mouth. I would order this all the time if I could. Overall great vibes, very reasonably priced food for how delicious and generous the portions are, plenty of seating, very clean. Def. recommend the loco moco and wagyu teriyaki, everything on their menu looks really good and worth the try!

First time eating at a Hawaii restaurant. The ordering system is really user friendly as you can order everything from your phone. Overall I was pleased with the food and service.

Service was quick and very friendly. You can feel and taste how much they love Hawaiian cuisine. We love the house Kona coffee, kahlua pork, lumpia, and spam musubi. The ambiance is casual, and relaxed, but I would feel just as comfortable here on a business lunch, a date night, or after a workout. I love the contemporary Hawaiian soundtrack.

Good vibes and flavors. Visited on a Friday night and placed a dine in order. The food was at the table in about 10 minutes and the mains were both wonderful. The Mauna Kea Chicken Katsu was perfectly described on the menu: sweet, spicy and buttery. Loved it! My wife's Kalua Pig Plate looked so good that I had to try it, and darn it if it wasn't tender and soaked in a savory sauce that almost made me second guess getting the chicken. On the side of each dish were two scoops of white rice and the option to choose another side. Flip a coin between the Mac salad and the potato salad as neither stood out other than in comparison to the rice. But the mains are where it's at!

This restaurant is so fun and cute, and has some swing seats! I appreciated all the veggie options. The vegan lumpia was amazing, as was the dessert sweet potato lumpia! Server was really nice!

We came to Onolicious for our book club. There were six of us and we were easily able to get a table. Many of us had never been there before so we asked the bartender for his top recommendations. I decided to try the spam musubi, as well as the huli huli chicken plate. The spam musubi was simple and delicious- I would definitely order it again. I didn't love the huli huli chicken, but other people in my group really liked it. They have a nice outdoor patio. I would be interested in coming back when the weather warms up and having a cocktail outside.

Two Mix Plate (2 Protein) Garlic shrimp and char sui katsu with macaroni salad
Erin E.

3.5 stars rounded to 4 Cute/ tropical vibes inside and the food was decent. We liked the cocktails and the bartender was helpful in suggesting some to try! The cocktails were heavy on the ice, though. You seat yourself and order with the QR code on the table from your phone. This is convenient --but also not. You have to tip when you check out and order everything at once. Or you keep adding items and have to pay again/ check out again. Would love just one bill at the end. Lumpia was crispy but $13 for 4 was steep. Portions of the plates were generous!! You have to pay $1 for any sauces you want and there are a lot of up charges for certain proteins on the lunch plates. Example- $4 up charge for 4 shrimp. Hit- the lumpia and kalua pig Miss- garlic shrimp (burnt garlic and greasy), chicken katsu (not crispy at all) Just fine- Mac salad, potato salad, musubi Nothing was terrible and nothing was great. Not sure I'd go out of my way to be back.

Ask the Community - Onolicious Hawaii

Is this a carry out only or a dine in restaurants?

Last time I went you could dine in. It's a decent sized restaurant now at their new location.

Will the beef stick plate be back on the menu anytime soon?

Are you BYOB or do you serve drinks?

There is a great full service bar here

Hi! is the chicken gluten and dairy free?

Unfortunately we use shoyo and that has soy. It is dairy free though

Our server, Chloe, introduced herself with a smile and provided us with a quick refresher. I knew from her energy that we were going to be in great hands for the evening. (and I was not wrong, lol) Chloe was personable, attentive, friendly, and down to earth. The service she provided us was excellent! I ordered the Swamp Thing for a cocktail. Sweet, fruity, and pretty... that green cocktail did exactly what it needed to do, lol. FIVE STARS! Now, on to the food... The Gator Bites are a MUST. I ordered the hot honey sauce on the side just to play it safe and I am glad I did, because babyyyy, that spice had no boundaries. If you're a lover of spicy things, you'll be good to order as is, lol! I also ordered the Roasted Oysters. Another MUST! The oysters had a parmesan crust with lemon garlic butter drizzled over them... They were gone in minutes! I was on the fence for my entree, but then my girl Chloe clocked that Pasta Mardi Gras and the rest is history. It was creamy, savory, and packed with flavor. I knew my girl wouldn't let me down! Our experience was excellent! I definitely recommend reservations. Pappadeaux wasn't terribly busy when we arrived, but by the time we finished up & headed out, they had a line out the door. If you're in the Cincy area, add to your foodie list! Overall, a great restaurant for a GNO, date night, or any celebration.

The gator bites were tender like chicken and the oysters were so flavorful! For the drink, I had the Swamp Thing cocktail and I was happily buzzed after finishing it. It was sweet, refreshing and the alcohol wasn't overpowering. Highly recommend Pappadeaux's if you're ever in the Cincinnati area!!! Customer Service: Chloe was our waitress and she was knowledgeable, sociable, funny and caring. She did a wonderful job in giving recommendations and telling us about the specials. She checked on us consistently and was never overbearing. The staff was timely with the appetizers, and the ebb and flow of the crowd seemed under control and all waiters/waitresses were ensuring orders were correct. Thank you Chloe for the top-tier service!! Ambiance: Pappadeaux's is typically upscale causal to business casual, but everyone is free to come as they are! It is family friendly for all ages. The decor gives an intimate open dining vibe. When it gets busy, it's BUSY. But the wait will be worth it! I guarantee there is something for everybody. This place is perfect for any occasion, celebration, graduation, birthday, date night, family dinner, a day trip - whatever your heart desires. The Cincy location is the best!

I'm not a crawfish person (too much work) so I usually get the Louisiana BBQ shrimp (which is NOT BBQ sauce - it's like butter and herbs and it's spicy but in a cumin way, not a Tabasco way). This time I got the wings that come with the same sauce and they are 10/10. Ranch dressing is housemade and the real deal. The char-grilled oysters are not to be missed. Happy hour has deals on both food and drink (as all good happy hours should) and includes oysters. Overall, prices are super fair because the portions are huge and most things come with a side or two. The jambalaya is worth bringing home if you don't have room and the cornbread is moist even the next day. And it's weird but I like the side salads, they aren't just white iceberg lettuce and two cherry tomatoes. Service has always been great. You can't get seated until at least half of your party is there but that's fair. We accidentally got a table for six and had eight show up and they just let us pull up a couple chairs and get in their way but acted like it was no big deal. We hadn't checked on the website, but found out Thursday is oyster day, with $1 oysters and fried oysters and $1.50 for Oyster Bienville. The fried oysters were delicious. The raw oysters were good, though I had one that was gritty. We are going again in two weeks and will try the Oyster Bienville along with other assorted oysters. Two of us had the special Pan Seared Sea Bass. It came highly recommended and did not disappoint. The crisp on the top was delicious and the fish itself was delicate and moist. It did indeed melt in my mouth. The potatoes were very good, though I didn't finish all of them. The greens were good. Mark had a ribeye and is still raving about it today.
