Located on cambi street near by the train station, and many bus lines. The place is small but cozy with many choices, affordable for a quick lunch or snack option. The staff was quick and friendly. I choose the onigiri salmon, onigiri ikura, onigiri basu miso and onigiri unagi cream cheese. They were all delicious, especially the Ikura.

Service was quick. It's just a onigiri takeout spot. No sit down area. Lots of onigiri available on the counters that you can pick up. The negitoro was our favourite, alongside the tuna mayo. The spam neopolitan was a blend of things but nothing stood out. I wouldn't get that one again. The unagi was great. Depending when you get the onigiri, it might be more fresh. For us, the rice was a little hard for some parts as opposed to freshly made warm rice. I'd come back for another round to try the other flavours.

This is one of my lunch go-to spots! It's perfect, quick and easy! I love the tuna mayo onigiri, it's my fave but I've tried a bunch. The eggplant ones are good too! I also love their little hot dishes. I've had the salmon roe spaghetti and the curry before - spaghetti was delish and I don't even like roe! I've tried their little cold salad mix too which is cute and comes with a good variety of things like karage, radish, egg etc! Service is always so friendly and fast! An awesome lunch spot especially when you're busy at work.

I have passed by this place so often and was always intrigued because they have music blasting outside the store pretty often. It is a grab-and-go onigiri place with no dine-in. It's perfect if you want to quickly grab a mid-day lunch! They are open till 4pm everyday. They had sooo many options of onigiri (I would say 15+ maybe) with veggie, meat, and seafood options. Their filling inside the onigiri are so generous which made it even better. I had two onigiris and I was full! They were also between $2-$3 which is SO affordable. Their veggie miso soup was also really good and perfect for the rainy weather. The onigiris were packaged in the perfect way which made it so that you can choose to have it with the seaweed or without! I was truly impressed by this place and I can't wait to go back there again!

I came at around 11:45am and there were lots of options available. I got the small Bento box and the salmon ikura ($4.99). The Bento box had an addicting sesame spinach salad and chicken karage. I loved the salmon ikura. There was lots of filling inside and the rice was so good. I would come back to try their other onigiri

So glad they've decided to open this shop! I love onigiri and they have various fillings to choose from. They're always busy when I stop by and I love the music they blast outside.

Big fan of Onigiri Ya! This is a grab and go onigiri shop open from 8-4. If you buy 3 or more onigiri, you get a 10% discount. I went in the morning and found that the onigiri were quite fresh. They also had a decent amount of filling compared to some other onigiris that I have gotten from other shops. Taste was great both same day and warmed up a day later. Highly recommend!

The chili-lime tofu, my go-to, is grilled fresh and juicy with a tangy marinade. I find these bowls very filling, but the price adds up quickly as you add more salad scoops, so I find it best to be conservative with my estimate of how much I think I need to eat. Besides the salad bowls, they have some hot entrees. I tried the Moroccan chickpea hot bowl and the tomato soup and both were a little bland, which was especially disappointing for something labelled "Moroccan". I would go back and try some different entrees to see if anything else is better, but I would say the salads are likely the best choice here. They have a very limited selection of "healthy" baked goods too. I really liked the chocolate pistachio cookie. As you would expect, it's significantly less sweet and has a slightly drier texture than a regular cookie, but if you like that kind of "better for you" treat, it's good. Very cocoa-forward. I've had good experiences with the service. The staff is friendly enough and usually pretty fast. It's counter service, but they'll usually bring your food to you at your table. There's a good amount of seating inside and a few tables outside when the weather allows. It's minimalist but clean.

This is the place where I usually buy cakes for the office. Their cakes are pre-made and placed in the displays for you to choose from. They make cakes throughout the day, but if you're unlucky they could be low on choices if you're there at the wrong time. If you have time, order ahead, but I don't usually have any problems with walk ins. The most recent cakes that I purchased were the Lemon Meringue and the Chocolate. Both cakes were sweet, light and fluffy. They were a hit in the office.

The HBC Gourmet Market is a little known great eatery in downtown Vancouver. It is located on the bottom floor of the Hudson's Bay Company (next to the Pacific Centre food court). It appears to be relatively unknown because Yelp doesn't know about it and so many people are always asking where I buy my lunch! Here you will find a very tasty selection of typical deli fare... The soups, salads, and sandwiches are their main selects but there is a whole lot more! My favourites are the Thai Chicken soup and the Chipotle Chicken Soup... usually ordered with a Greek salad. I am always so pleased with my lunch that I made this my very first review on Yelp!

And the porchetta on the cutting board was calling me. We ordered a Porchetta sandwich, meatball sandwich and a side Kale Caesar salad. The Porchetta was great. Chopped and with some crispy pork cracklings on top, it was really very tasty. The mustard on the side was a great addition to every savory bite. Next the meatball. Spicy and delicious with a bit of kale added for texture and color. This was EVEN BETTER than the Porchetta if you can believe it. The kale salad was also good as well as the spicy pickle. I would eat here once a week if I lived close bye. A definite must try if you're in Vancouver. 9/10

Being that it was our first time here, one takeaway is to ask for more cracklin' because the crunchy pieces are the best part IMO. We ordered a porchetta sandwich and a grilled cheese. For the price (compared to Cali ) I thought it was a great value for a porchetta sandwich. The bread was fresh, perfectly toasted. The flavors were all tasty, and getting a side of their spicy dip elevated the sandwich even more. 10/10 would eat on the regular if I lived near by. The grilled cheese was alright though in comparison to the porchetta sandwich. Great cheese pull, definitely needs some dipping sauce to elevate it though. Don't know if I'd order again but if a grilled cheese is what you are craving, it'll do just fine. This location had some seating inside and a couple benches outside. Definitely good for solo dining or a quick lunch. Overall, glad we tried it, and wouldn't hesitate to order again.
