Crystal shot the photos for my wedding, and my husband and I couldn't be happier with her work…read more Seriously, she took the best pictures of me that I have ever seen. Can she just follow me around and take pics of me everyday? The girl works magic. I originally sought out Crystal because she is a founding member and photography editor for the Fair Event Vendors Alliance, which connects the LGBTQ community with Louisville and Southern Indiana area wedding and event professionals and champions their equality and fair treatment. While I'm not LGBTQ, this is still very important to me. I'm so happy this is important to Crystal too. A friend of mine also recommended her and said that she is sensitive to making sure photos are all natural and flattering. Sounds like I would be in good hands. We met in person to talk about the wedding shortly after I reached out, and I felt comfortable with her almost immediately. She was also easily reachable and quick to respond when I had questions. And then the big day came. Crystal first met us at the salon and was with us for 10 hours that day. I felt like she always had control of the situation -- especially when posing us all for photos -- but she also did not take over the entire scene, as I have seen other photographers do at weddings. She was working hard the entire time and always professional. And like my friend said, she took photos that were very flattering. I told her my arms are not my fave feature, and she helped me pose and stand so they were minimized. Other faves about working with Crystal: * Her prices were very reasonable, which I can confirm after talking to friends and seeing what they spent on pics. * She delivered the photos about two months after the wedding, which seems to be standard. And we got ALL of the pics. Plus we get to download them and use them as we see fit (giving her credit on social media, of course). * And just to reiterate, we had her for 10 hours at three different locations. And her pics! Again, they turned out so well. Both the posed and action shots were beautiful. Looking through them, I feel like she got all the important parts of the wedding -- and then some. I missed seeing some of my friends' moves on the dance floor. Now they are committed to history, thanks to Crystal. The venue also looked stunning in her photos. After stressing so much about the decorations, I admit I didn't get to take it in as much as I would have liked on the actual day. Now I get to see and truly appreciate how beautiful it was. I very much hope I get another chance to work with Crystal. Her pics will line our walls and social media feeds for the rest of my and my husband's lives.

It can be difficult to find "the right" photographer for all your needs. You want it to be local,…read moreyou want it to be high quality, you want it to be affordable, and you want your session to be stress free. Well Louisville, I'm here to tell you that 502 Photos is all these things! Whether it's on your wedding day that you want to have a couple photographers that are reliable, fun, and experienced or whether you want a one photographer fun and casual session of your family at the park, 502 Photos does this extremely well. On top of being such great photographers with a great eye for the right pose, the right lighting, and capturing that moment at just the right angle ( they do left angles too- joke fail), this photography team duo are master Photoshop editors. Love how the photo came out but want it to pop or perhaps want to erase that mole, or show off your smile without showing those coffee stains? 502 Photos can get this done for you with any fixes not distracting the great natural shot that was taken. Should you want some obvious and perhaps even extreme editing touches to your photos, I have personally seen the Photoshop magic that this team can do too. Most recently I used 502 Photos for a Spring session of my elementary aged daughter who normally hates taking photos. Making this photo taking session into a mini event raised a bit of anxiety in my kid while we were driving to Waterfront Park. However Jeanelle ( the photographer we chose for this session) had such an amazing engaging personality that eased my child's anxiety and even got my child to have fun posing. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw my child laughing and going along so well with the posing directions that the photographer was giving her. If you ever attend any events in Louisville, there is a high chance that you have already ran across the 502 Photos team. Ever heard of the Zombie Attack in Louisville? Ever heard of the Balloon Glow? Ever heard of Thunder of Louisville? Such silly questions I know. 502 Photo's portfolio consists of events such as these and more. Also, their landscape shots are absolutely beautiful and worthy of being put up on a wall though right now, I'm not aware of these shots being sold. Go call or write 502 Photos and update your home wall photos with new family pictures!

What an amazing experience!! We spent a lot of time researching photographers for our daughters…read moresenior pictures, we absolutely made the right decision with Tammy. Her communication is unmatched, from our initial zoom consultation to staying in touch with us and our daughter learning about her and her style, interests and ideas for HER senior pictures. Tammy guided us every step of the way and helped with clothing choices, hair styles, accessories, etc. This was so much more than a couple of photo sessions. It truly was a custom-tailored experience for Sara. Both of our sessions were at outdoor locations and were a perfect fit for what Sara wanted. We never felt rushed during our sessions and Tammy spent so much time helping her through the poses and making sure that she was comfortable and relaxed. Tammy has an entire wagon loaded down with everything you can imagine making sure the session goes smoothly. From water to a mounted mirror and even a portable speaker so Sara could have her favorite playlist playing during the sessions. That was a great touch that really helped put her at ease! Our photos could not have been more amazing. The selection process was so difficult, there were SO many amazing pictures narrowing them down was almost impossible!!! Tammy worked so hard to help us narrow our choices and we were never pressured into more than we had budgeted. We picked out our prints and products and the entire process was so easy! Tammy is a true professional photographer. Her work absolutely reflects the time and energy she has put into her craft and is so much more than delivering amazing photographs. The entire process is a wonderful experience for your senior. Highly recommend Tammy.

Tammy was friendly and professional from the start. She was in near-constant communication with…read moreme, and was very flexible with my work schedule. I wanted high quality senior portraits of my son, TJ, and she came through! We had our session in her home studio, and even though my session was for just one hour, she didn't mind taking her time to really work with him to ensure the shots were just right. He had three outfit changes, and we chose three different backgrounds. She went through numerous poses, styled the lighting differently throughout the session, and did all but hang from the rafters (she's petite and TJ is 6'2") to get the shots she felt would look best. The resulting photos were amazing...it was SO hard to narrow our choices down. Again, she never made us feel rushed or pressured into more than we budgeted for. She guided us through our options for prints, and showed us some examples of what those look like as final products. The mobile app for the final photos is a great idea. I've sent it to all my relatives, living all over the world, to get their requests for printed photos -so handy! 10/10 would highly recommend Tammy to handle your event photos...I'm calling her in 4 years when my daughter graduates! (And maybe before that if I can convince the hubby to renew our vows, but that's another story!)

I used the quote calculator on their website to get an estimate prior to my fall wedding. When I had to enter my email address and phone number I felt like I was going to regret it later, but did it anyway. Not only did I receive the quote, but I was mailed a contract, and called within hours of the estimate. I told the person I spoke with that we were comparing prices on videographers and I just wanted a quote but wasn't ready to make a decision yet. We didn't have a ton of money for video so it was essential that we do our research. He seemed to understand, BUT the phone calls didn't stop. A few days later - "We're going to hold your date!" I told them that was unnecessary. I got a weekly phone call for a while, which I ignored and then immediately received a follow-up email. I usually responded to those telling them we hadn't decided and would let them know if we wanted to hire them. They reminded me that "We can't hold your date for much longer..." Which I never asked them to do. AND after telling them I had DJ services taken care of they repeatedly tried to up sell me their own. About two months or so out from the wedding I started getting DAILY calls, even after telling them that I had handed off videography duties to my fiancé. I ignored all calls and emails. The calls were always during the day while was at work, at a new job - it felt like they didn't care what I may be doing, they just wanted my business no matter what, complete disregard for my daily life. I genuinely felt like I was being harassed and knew that regardless of how lovely their online reels were we would never work with this company. I was so annoyed I didn't feel like I owed them the courtesy of telling them either. I just continued to ignore the calls and emails. If you want to hire Complete for sure, right off the bat, I am willing to bet the experience it quite different, great even. But if you are just browsing area vendors be warned that they will not leave you alone. I felt like I was clear and firm about our situation and it just didn't get through... A business should never make you feel cornered into hiring them. Complete- I highly recommend you calm it down when it comes to potential clients. Check on the initial quote, follow back up in a month or two depending on when the event is, and then follow up six weeks before the event. No more than that or it will turn people off. Had we not had such a negative experience in the beginning it is highly likely we would have hired you for our wedding.
