Title: Avoid Tad Miller at All Costs - Absolute Worst Tax Service Experience…read more Over ten years ago, I used this location and had a fantastic experience -- an 18-year-old preparer handled my taxes flawlessly. Unfortunately, she left for college, and when I recently decided to give this place another try, they recommended Tad Miller. That was the biggest mistake ever, and I will never go back. I've had many tax preparers do my taxes with no problem whatsoever. However, Tad is the only worse experience I have ever had, and the man is very unprofessional. From the moment I sat down with him, he made stupid jokes and just irked me, but I went ahead anyway as he processed the paperwork. This was mid-February, so plenty early before the deadline. He told me he needed a certain document emailed to him since I didn't have it with me, so he paused everything. After repeated attempts to email him the documents, I never got so much as a "got it, I'm on it." I called and he never responded or called back when I left a message. When I finally got him on the phone, his tone made it clear he was not happy to hear from me at all. I asked if he'd received my email, and he said he had. Well there you go -- why not tell me that in the first place? Anyhow, it's already early April and he tells me he has to file an extension, despite me coming to see him back in mid-February. Are you serious? So then I played the waiting game again, and when he finally finished the tax forms, he calls at 11:55 PM and says he emailed the documents and needs my signature before midnight or it'll be late. Mind you, this is five minutes to midnight on a weekday -- what am I doing at that time? Sleeping, because I have work the next day. So I didn't get the message until the next day at my computer at work. Are you seriously giving me a five-minute heads-up before midnight when people go to bed way earlier than that on a weeknight? So I got a penalty for being late -- because of him. A few months later, he still couldn't finish the work, so Veronica had to step in and complete my tax forms for me. This is now July. WTF. And on top of that, he still didn't give me back my sensitive documents with my personal information -- that didn't happen until November. He really worked on my patience, and I wanted to scream at him, but he had my sensitive information, so I had to bottle all that anger and frustration in. Anyhow, this man is in the wrong business -- maybe he should be flipping hamburgers, because 18-year-olds can clearly do his job a lot better than he can. This man is the worst, and I will never go back to Liberty Tax. If you have to go there, go see anyone else but not Tad. Stay away from Tad Miller at all costs -- this is a warning to you.

I had a very disappointing experience with this Liberty Tax Service affiliate. I worked with Tad…read moreMiller and found the service unprofessional and extremely unreliable. I came in more than two weeks ago because I'm behind on my taxes and wanted to confirm they could handle my situation before investing time. Tad assured me it was fine. I had already uploaded multiple tax documents through the Liberty Tax portal, and after our appointment I spent about six hours going through two years of records (bank statements, healthcare-related receipts, W-2s, investment statements, etc.) and uploaded everything clearly labeled and organized in the portal. The next day, I notified him that all documents were uploaded. After that, I received no meaningful updates. A week passed with no email, no call, and no portal communication. When I called, I was told it would likely be done by the following Monday. Monday came and went with no update. I called again and still got no progress report or clear timeline. Voicemails were not returned. Beyond the lack of communication, the office environment was concerning. The space was noticeably disheveled, including torn flooring and trash on the floor, and it did not appear clean or maintained. Tad's appearance was also very unprofessional. Most importantly, during my visit he asked inappropriate personal questions unrelated to taxes (including questions about race/ethnicity), brought up political opinions, and asked who I voted for. He also made very uncomfortable, discriminatory remarks about other groups of people, which was completely unacceptable in a professional setting. I cannot recommend this location. If you need a tax preparer who is responsive, professional, and respectful, I suggest going elsewhere.

No thanks, I plan ahead so don't need to expedite for a fee. But then I've had issues with the amount of time it takes them to process transfers. It will be up to 4 days after my primary bank has moved the funds before they appear in my Fremont account. And if you ever need to call customer service for help, forget about it. I've ended up talking to reps that are unhelpful and annoyed and who don't seem to have any agency to take care of even small issues. If I had to do it again, I'd choose a different bank.

I called and left a message and Indira called me back very quickly. I was a total noob at this and had no idea about a lot of the terms but Indira talked me through everything and did a great job explaining to me what it all meant. She sent me a few quotes through email so I could share with my husband since he was at work at the time. After we decided on our policy it was a breeze setting everything up. Indira took care of literally everything for us - it could not have been an easier process! Recently she gave me a call to follow up and see how our move to our new home went. I really loved that she took the time to reach out so I also decided to discuss what it would look like to switch our auto policy over to State Farm also. Indira was able to give me a quote within minutes, and since we were bundling with our home insurance we got a good discount and are now paying the same amount for auto insurance as we were with Progressive but with waaaaayyyyyyyy better coverage. Also she said this would reduce our home insurance policy cost and would be getting some money back from that - a total win-win! Indira makes me feel like family when I speak with her which is why I gave them my business, and will stay a loyal customer as long as they are around! If you are looking to change any of your insurance needs, I highly recommend going with Kelvin and Indira at State Farm!

Everytime I turn around my auto insurance policy has been increased. Within the last 6 months my…read morepolicy has increase over $120 and when ever I contact this office, where Rexi Tagayuna is assigned as my agent; They can never give a valid reason upfront as to why it has increased. 2 months ago it increased approx $45 and I sent an email asking for details and received a response providing me details that were totally false. The woman stated the reason for the increase was because of a traffic accident my son had back in August that was minor (minor scrape to vehicle while pulling out of a real tight parking space) of which my policy had increased for this incident 2 months after it happened, being an increase I was aware of. Because the property damage was $100 over the CA limit of $1000 they were required to increase my policy approx $65 in October 2024. In any event, I called 2 months ago because my policy was increased $45 more dollars. So I emailed my inquiry, the response I got was because my son had a incident back in August, in my Toyota. #1 my policy already increased in Oct 2025 for that and #2 he wasn't driving My Toyota Corolla. He was driving his own car that is on my policy also and is Not a Toyota. With that being false I called and asked why is my policy being increased again for the same incident? (I have saved this email for my records) they cldnt explain why she replied with that info and then said it was actually increased due to some state changed that were made in Jan 2025. So now today I received my statement for next month 05/2024 and its been increased $65. I called and the wonan who answered today, attempted to say the same thing about the incident my son had back in Aug 2024. So by now I am Pissed, and even more so because we havent had any other incidents at all on since being covered. My Toyota Corolla is a 2015... and the policy is showing more than My son's 2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid. I am 46 yrs old and have no accidents or tickets. My son only had that one incident. So how does my policy increase $60. My policy was reinstated being past due 2 days, however online it says a lapse in coverage of 30 or more days would cause at least an 8% increase. My lapse would hv been 2 days if any and would not cause a $65 increase, when my policy was "reinstated" either way the woman who answered said due the my sons incident (LIES) again, and started saying due to a renewal of my policy, Ive been with them almost 5 yrs and never has any of my renewals increased $65. So as I told her she is wrong and they need to STOP using my sons incident as the reason for increase because Im not dumb. And starting to believe this broker/office is ripping me off and lying in the process. They never send any notice telling me of an increase just increase. When u call Customer Service your automatically referred to the agent as Customer Service cant explain the policy. I never chose this agent nor met her and really have no idea how I was assigned to her. But atp Iam fed up and looking to file a complaint with the State and have them look into all these increases to make sure theyre valid since I have been lied to more than once. They have even entered their own estimated mileage on my vehicles to renew our policies, and I have had to call them about that. I work from home and barely leave my house and drive my car less than the standard 12K miles a year, i have sent them the mileage and they have still entered their own estimates making my rates higher and have had to have them fix it and assume they thought I wouldnt catch it. This how grimey these insurance companies are I assume, or maybe this particular office Im assigned to. But at the end of the day, all this agent/ofc does is LIE at least to me they do. I will look to pursue for real answers, because I am tired of being lied to. Because how is it ur insurance policy increase over $150 in 6 months and every 2-3 months a new increase. Monthly payment changes every single month w/no explanation, just lies they expect me to believe.
