I have known Tess Bois, the acupuncturist, for many years now, and I have been a client for just as long. If I could draw a picture of Mother Nature, it would look like Tess. She is the embodiment of care and nurture, and she surrounds herself with an equally caring office staff.
The sessions are very relaxing. You recline in a comfortable chair, and Tess inserts the needles with such a slight touch that will leave you wondering "how does she do that?" Soft music is playing in the background. You can use as many of pillows and blankets as you want to make yourself comfortable (the clinic does have a large supply of both, but if you come on a regular basis, you may want to bring your own). Then you close your eyes and clear your mind. Many people fall asleep during their sessions, which usually last from 45 minutes to an hour. It is such a calm atmosphere that you hardly even notice the fact that you are sharing the space with many other clients. And you never feel rushed.
Compensation takes place on a sliding fee scale, which makes Tess' services very affordable. Clients never pay more than they can afford to (at their own discretion).
