I have had my haircut by everyone there and each gave a fantastic cut. Their clientele is wide ranging and all are capable of cutting any hair style or texture. Conversation is lively and all in good fun. TVs usually have sports or a movie on and if kids are in the shop they'll put on something for them. The decor is tasteful and well appointed. There is a real sense of pride in the shop and you feel like you're somewhere special. Since Covid-19, they have added new chairs and tin ceiling panels as well as rearranged the front desk. Clear signage states to call when you arrive and they'll let you know when you can enter the shop per Covid-19 regulations. While they do take walk-ins I'd highly recommend an appointment for Saturdays. They take phone appointments as well as use Booksy, an app, which is how I book my haircur. I've come to expect a little bit of a wait even with an appointment and factor that into my day. There are two things in life that should have a wait, your doctor and barber. Overall I am thrilled to be their customer. I live almost 30 minutes away and gladly travel to get my haircut cut by the crew at Paulie's.

Essentially let him make the suggestions and recommendations as I really had no idea what to do with my hair/beard. He discussed everything and took his time, was very precise with his cut and trim. I told Ron that I just needed what I had left to look good, I didn't want my cut to look masculine, and I trusted him to help me through this painful journey. Ron listened and said not to worry - he would make my shape up look great. He was so reassuring and I trusted him immediately. Ron took his time, used 4 different clippers and scissors, he had turned on 70s Soul and as I sang along to Teddy Pendergrass, he joined in too. The time, care and precision cost $25.
