A week later, we nail down the price, then 5 hours later, he BACKS OUT VIA TEXT claiming he can't do my event because he doesn't want to pay for labor to help him. Are you kidding?! See the messages yourself! This is after he called and texted at all hours of the day night (6am, 11pm) promising the world. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Calls always ran long because he talks over you, hyping himself up, insisting you watch his video clips. Don't bother! Had a great experience with OSBE yesterday for a 60th birthday party my friend threw for her dad!! There was a good mix of music that everyone knew wether it was oldies or todays hits. Not only can music/ DJ be rented but acrylic furniture is also built right in front of you and brought to life. He always comes a few days early to set up and is very available to rearrange things the way you want them! We were even set up with a small dance floor and lights at night when it began to get dark. Originally he set up outside but it started to get cold so most of us had gone inside, he moved some of his equipment inside as well so the party could continue. We were thrilled with the LED tables and the look they provided for our corporate holiday party. What we were not impressed by was Paul and the way he treated his team, the hotel staff at our venue, and us. He was rude, pushy, talked over everyone and, even more importantly, was late in delivering and setup. Tables were the last to arrive which put us behind on everything else since you can't set chairs,, linens, place settings, or centerpieces without tables. Night before the event was when he changed the delivery time from 8am to noon. We could have worked with noon but then it got pushed to 2pm which caused everyone else to scramble. I met Paul at my local Bridal Expo and it was the luckiest thing that happened for my wedding. Originally I had wanted a forest theme but when I saw the chandeliers and icy crystal themed decor that his business offered, I immediately scrapped my original idea and knew THIS was the look I had to have for my reception. It is noteworthy that I love fantasy themes and my husband is more modern classic. I had always dreamed of a Sailor Moon inspired reception so his custom hand crafted lightup tables and Icy chairs reminded me exactly of "Crystal Tokyo" from the show. And my husband was easily sold the very contemporary, original and upscale look. Best of both worlds and quite a dream come true for me! Paul was extremely generous with all our needs; flexible and budget friendly. I probably called him 15 times with silly questions and his expertise in the party/wedding industry helped me so much on not just my decor, but even helping plan my wedding in general. As a cherry on top, as a nod to my original wedding theme idea of forests, Paul also decorated my Wedding Ceremony room with lush white flowered trees framing my husband and I very romantically. Paul and I talked about themeing and I could tell he had great vision so I gave him a lot of creative freedom. The environment he created was breathtaking on entry and a calming inner glow from within our tables at dinner time. The atmosphere with the music just made you compeled to get up and dance. Party time REALLY was crazy, a total different level. I couldn't believe this was MY party to be honest. We were floating on a cloud for our first dance and the next minute dancing with our guests like fools amist a laser light show . Paul was even our DJ! His equipment was top notch and I had such an amazing time with my friends and family. So many of them have told us it was the best wedding they've ever attended. Paul's a genuine genius with his work, he has a heart of gold and I recommend him for ANY event, big or small. read more
