5 stars - Exceptional service when we needed it most! We…read morefound ourselves in a real pinch and desperately needed new flooring fast. My wife jumped online, read through reviews, and Fred's Flooring stood out with consistently great feedback from happy customers. From the very first call, Coach was an absolute rockstar! He went way above and beyond to help us select the perfect flooring, get it installed on an impressively tight timeline, and all at a fair, competitive price. The entire process was smooth, stress-free, and surprisingly quick. What really blew us away was when we realized we needed additional work done--Coach didn't just point us in the right direction; he personally recommended trusted pros, got them scheduled immediately, and made it all happen seamlessly. Throughout everything, he was incredibly responsive--answering every call, keeping us updated every step of the way, and truly treating us like valued friends rather than just customers. Huge thank you to Coach and the entire team at Fred's Flooring for turning a stressful situation into a fantastic experience. Your dedication, professionalism, and genuine care made all the difference. If you're in Middle Tennessee and need flooring (or related work), look no further--Fred's is the real deal! Highly, highly recommend!

Wow. Just horrible. Where do I even begin. Going in and…read morelooking at carpet was fine. It was the starting of the planning and installing where we started having problems. In the other reviews that stated they were lazy and uncommunicative - I can get behind that. Apparently no one but the original person you interacted with can explain or answer questions on your project. Even through everything is entered into the computer. Or supposed to be. So if your person doesn't work six days a week you're just SOL. And they don't return phone calls. I have a call log to show it. When setting up an install appointment we were supposed to get an email confirmation and set up the computer project notification system. I'm purely guessing. We were never told about this. Fast forward 3 weeks and still no email. The day before the install, because again, no email confirmation, I called. No one could speak with me as they weren't my project person. I was supposed to get a call back. I didn't. About that time we received an email confirmation of the INITIAL set up. A reminder came within minutes of each other. I had to call back at 4:55 so I could at least get somebody to answer anything before close. I was told yes he knew about the install and it was scheduled for Thursday and Friday (remember that - important) and would be at my house at 10 am. Next day 10 rolls around. No one. 10:30 rolls around. No one. I call back to inquire as to why no one showed up and I was informed well, they have an hour window. What? Did you tell anyone? Nope. Dude finally shows up at 10:58 flying though the subdivision. Pretty sure the rocks moved in the driveway. After installation things got even worse. As if they weren't crappy already. There were waves in the carpets the z bar at both bathrooms were crap installed and you could feel the height difference of the pad. And now the worst part. Baseboards. OMG a 5 yr old could have done better. Afternoon complaining and sending pics I was told he couldn't come back the next day bc he had a commercial job to do. Remember when I said I was scheduled for 2 days? But now all of a sudden he has a commercial job? Yeah, we know where your bread and butter is. Not us getting house installs. They found someone else who came out and fixed some corners and a wall. Afterwards we sent a message requesting someone to look over the install as things were not ok. No response. No one ever got back to us. We waited a week. Crickets. We had to physically go to the store to complain. Sad really. I did not sign the work order as I found out later that, that is what usually happens, and I was NOT offered, told, or discussed that a final walkthrough was done. Nope. No one reached out to us. Finally got someone to come out and look. Took pics and said I'll make some phone calls and get back with you. Next point of contact was the owner and some other peeps were coming out to look. Took up carpets and rearranged pad and was supposedly fixing the baseboards. Again. I have pics. It's terrible. And I provided baseboards. Not them. All and all this was a terrible experience. I will not be back. I have the rest of my house to do and I will go elsewhere. I'll drive to TX and pick up the same carpet if I have to, but it won't be from here. Before the owner responds with crap I got a $100 deduction for my troubles. I still have to fix my baseboards so it's no consolation. The pics are after install, after the 1st fix, and then 2nd fix. The split board and the gouged corner is after the 2nd/last fix. It seems no one in this company can fix/install anything. Photos on my Google review as I cannot attach them here.

I'll get straight to the point to HIGHLY RECOMMEND Vinny Pizzo for your tile needs! He made himself…read morehighly accessible to return my calls, showed above average communication skills resulting in me knowing what to expect everyday before, during and after installation. Vinny and his team of installers has an eye for detail, too. They know what looks good and how to get the job done. Overall, our porcelain textured wood style tile was installed immaculately and with the highest regard for style and a quality. I highly recommend Vinny and his team for tile installation of any kind and any place because they have skills that can get the job done.

It saddens me to have to write this 1 star review, as I was looking forward to eventually writing…read morethis business a 5 star, as I was ALSO looking forward to working with Vinny for MANY more projects and years to come... Please Note: I write this review ONLY to inform "you" of my experience, nothing more, as I did and/ or still DO like Vinny, just bothered by how things ended... With that said I do NOT discredit his 5 star reviews, but yet, I will NOT give credit to how he handled some parts/ prices of the job, and most importantly, how he handled the situation with me BEFORE the job was ever even finished: I just bought a house and upon moving in, a copper water pipe in the ceiling burst 2 days later (due to freezing temps), Welcome (to your NEW) home! So I contacted Vinny who quickly rushed over and helped address and remedy the situation. I was extremely happy and relieved with how fast, attentive and friendly he was to me and my unfortunate situation. He said mold and/ or black mold is very common here in TN, and we should NOT take any chances, to which I did NOT disagree: Better to be safe than sorry. I would much rather be proactive NOW, then forced to be reactive later, when it's "too late" by then... So very quickly the ceiling got ripped out, as did the insulation, and not having a truck, Vinny dropped off a dehumidifier as I was told it would help to dry out the room. I wanna say I was charged $2,500, give or take; I thought that to be kinda pricey, but ok... Then after that was done, he had framers come to re-frame the ceiling... Was that needed...? I'm not sure, but this where the story takes a turn after I was charged another $2,100 for the framers... : Not only did the framers cut the wire to the thermostat in that room that I was never even informed of, but this was right around Christmas, so the temperatures were extremely cold, windy, and rainy, and not having a thermostat to keep that room heated at all, and not having a ceiling with any insulation, made it ALL even that much worse. When I told Vinny the wire to thermostat was cut, he said "happens..." Oh OK, cool... Thanks... So now I had to hire an electrician to fix that wire, which not only cost ME $350, but he also said "Hey, this EXPOSED wire is 'hot!' This is NOT safe to have a live wire exposed like this!" Then to make it even worse, once it got fixed, as it had to be to "code," he had to put in 2 boxes, BOTH with covers! So now my $2+ million dollar house has 2 plastic covers next to each other in the ceiling... LOL... Looks great, thanks a lot... Pictures below: Then I had an HVAC guy come that was referred to me now that the thermostat has been fixed, before the insulation and drywall can get put back in ceiling... When he shows up, to make a long story short, he said "WTF happened to your ceiling!?! Why is the ENTIRE ceiling removed?" I told him a water pipe burst, and he said "That's not right to have done this because of that. Why did he re-frame the entire ceiling?" I said I don't know... "Why did the framers put sister beams to all of them?" I don't know... "They didn't even really re-frame, they just nailed new wood to the existing wood that was already there. Maybe replace the wet ones, but not sister every single one of them. Does your contractor even know what they did?" Does he know they did this...? Did he see/ approve this?" I don't know... And because I'm not a contractor or someone who knows anything about how to fix homes, I might never know if any/ all of this was ne. But nonetheless, the HVAC guy then said "Call your contractor, I would like to talk to him..." He had his convo with Vinny, asking him why this and that was done, and it looks terrible, and Vinny hung up on him... So anyways, I believe it was the next day, maybe 2, I called Vinny to ask him what the status is on completing the job, since he had previously sent me another invoice to complete the job that was going to cost me another $4,000... So from start to finish, this is going to cost me $10,000!?! Starting to feel like I might be getting taken advantage of, but whatever, it needs to get done right... Vinny answered and said in a nutshell, "I do not appreciate the drunk guy that called me, I was doing you a favor! I was making no money on this job! I don't care what you do from here, I'm not working on this job anymore with you, or on any job for you in the future! Take care!" And hung up on me... Ummmm, WTF just happened...??? Did he just hang up on me...? Did he just hold me accountable for a conversation that he had with someone I didn't even know? I would/ will NEVER hold someone else accountable for a conversation that they have with someone else... Ever. So I was forced to find someone else to complete what Vinny started, and pick up the pile of trash that Vinny's crew left in the front of my house... So as I said at the beginning, this is NOT a "hit piece" or a hate piece, this was just MY piece and NOTHING more...
